Saw a story on reddit about a girl not letting her DYING ex boyfriend see their dog they had. So her current boyfriend took the dog to see the ex boyfriend who then literally died days later. I may have some resentment towards my exes but I would never disregard their dying wish. That’s just cruel. You loved them at one point, how can you treat them like that?

I agree with championing your exes. I evem sent the Justin Long video to my first love from 20 years ago. I always feel that just because you can't work out romantically doesn't mean you can't hold a caring space for them. I actually agree with them on the EXS I do not remember breaking up with them and not moving on and wishing them the best truly! My ex husband abused me so that was rough and has not been in contact since I had our son but I still forgive him and recognize I did love him at one point.I moved on and married the love of my life and he treats my son honestly like his own. I believe abuse or serious toxic relationship should be at a level though.

I agree with healing enough to be able to be friends with your exes. I finally got there with my ex husband, and he actually now is a very good fiend of mine. My older kids love it when he can eat dinner at my home with all of us together. Super healing and wonderful for all. However , his gf is super insecure and does not know due to it would create a lot of drama. To bad, she could come to dinner too and enjoy the fun as well. Maybe some day if she can evolve. 😂👍🏼

I think it’s amazing when parents can be great Co.Parent friends for their children & become great friends 😊 kids should never have to suffer the adult stuff 🙏 My ex was my best friend but we didn’t have kids together. His new partner was too jealous for us to continue as friends & that’s what I don’t like about society & ridiculous unnecessary social stigmas, just coz we don’t have kids together & she knows me & I know him & her together, but she’s too jealous for him to have female friends. I hate to think how much grief she causes for him with his first wife he does have kids with! Why should we have to lose our best friend and be made to feel like complete strangers coz of her jealous insecurities 😕 I love that Kate & Drew talked about this, it should be the norm, not make people feel like it’s taboo! Things have changed! Life’s too short!
