I have owned a 2002 eurovan since 2002. I absolutely love it!!! It is not perfect but I find that I prefer driving it to just about anything else. It is so much better than a truck or a car as far as utility is concerned. One of the week points is the limit on the towing capacity but it will tow a utility trailer without any issues. Just watch out for the transmission the biggest weak point that has been observed from other owners! I also have had to deal with other minor issues but the van is 16 years old and still going strong!

I'm on my third. I love these things. There is just nothing like it, except maybe a Metris van (except the Metris passenger vans' seats don't fold or move at all, so that's a deal breaker)

I just bought a 2002, what do you think about making it into a camper van? (after I get the tranny rebuilt, lol)

Owner of a 2003 MV for a couple years now. Your description is spot on. I still love my van though.

Owner of 2001 Caravelle Comfortline VR6 204 PS. Great family hauler for the money. Feels more honest than new SUVs and vans. Way better than the French junk (Trafic) you see here in Sweden. There are only 70 or so still in traffic with the stronger VR6.

I've got a '95 camper. Very slow acceleration but drives really well. I'm short so getting in was a challenge at first but now am used to it. Love it to death but am afraid of the maintenance nightmares lurking in the future.

I would prefer the diesel engine over the gas engine. Better fuel economy and you guys also got 4 motion which the states didn't get!

Unbelievably whiny and grating presentation. Overdramatic complaints are apparently meant to be entertaining? Doug DeMuro/Jeremy Clarkson this one is definitely not.
