@@atharva0777 I'm now running a stage 2. With 350 bhp. 55nm. R600 4 piece set up. Scorpion turbo back with high flow sports cat. Bilstein B14 coilovers, Aston Martin db9 4pot bbk. Braided hoses etc. Sache performance clutch, APR Stage 2 Medium torque remap. 25mm h&n spacers, xtreme 19"wheels. Wider 235 Mitchell pilot sport tyres. That's about the lot currently. All supporting mods ready for a stage 3 hybrid turbo.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but even after the lowered springs, the ride height is probably a tad bit more than what it was because the new wheels are adding 25mm to the ground clearance where as it is being reduced by 15mm at the front. Overall increase is still 10mm. Sidewall of tires is pretty much negligible.

Wider contact of tires (or wider tire) does not increase grip of vehicle, the tire composition, and weight of vehicle can. As the surface of the contact increases, the weight on that overall surface reduces, resulting in the same grip. Hence , the wider tire does not mean more grip. But the handling will improve.

@@diaryofawanderingbootthey have big tyres to match the power output of the engine, so that tyres can handle that much power without bursting, and for grip or (friction) they use sticky rubber like substance on the track with low air pressure inside tyres Hope this helps.

This is all well and good, the problem of such performance mods is that you don't really get to enjoy all that power, 300 HP power should be fine but imagine 600 hp, 1000 hp, the car architecture won't be able to keep up with the performance at a point, you will have that much power but you won't be able to enjoy all of it, unlike a lambo with factory 600hp where you get to enjoy every bit of it, thanks to all the engineering R&D.

No not really. If the it's done properly, we would say otherwise. ECU remaps can actually make the engine perform better and reduce the amount of stress on it if the hardware is also changed

Great Job guys ..I just have a simple question when engine is tunes what happens to the oil pressure system. The pipes and all the designed to sustain a certain bar of pressure but when you tune the engine or remap it the bar presure changes. Can this result in damaging the engine in long run. A person who wants more power is also going to rev it...

it depends on the car maker if the car maker is german u cant expect a lot but if it is a japanese engine then its ok

Well my point is that the fuel.pump and all at tuned to take a particular pressure...These things are done to such a precision that weight management never goes on toss. But still it is nice to see people is India opening their hearts minds and pocket to proper sports cars. Tuning a car requires a lot of knowledge and I guess I am.just a rookie. ..

Hey Simant, your concerns are very valid. But most of these parts are overengineered in a sense. They can take a lot of more than advertised and more importantly, a simple ECU remap isn't going to overwhelm the hardware unless and until some drastic mods like a turbo upgrade are done!

We assumed that everyone would understand that we were talking about gains with a remap. @@SohamSaraf I know the claims man, but it's bull as compared to the physics of generating 20hp without tuning. The peak boost of the car remains constant, as no tuning is applied. So to get 20 hp without tuning, or adding additional fuel, timing etc, is just not possible, no matter how free flowing an intake gets. The peak power of the ecu remains more or less same. Add more air than the ecu is expecting, and the wastegate opens n reduces the boost etc etc. You know your shit when it comes to cars, no doubt about that, but this claim is highly overstated at best, and moronic at the least by eventuri. And the fastest IS38 GTI/Skoda RS cars on record do their runs on the stock airbox. The Red CF looks sick as fuck tho.. Good Build!
