Brilliant drive, and well done on passing! Always feel a little jealous of people who pass so young, they have so, so many years of driving to enjoy ahead! Haha! But seriously, well done again!

I totally understand the jealousy. Not only that she started at 17 but her parents basically and happily helped with everything. Happy that she passed though.

That's not a bad tip. Honking the best way to deal with them is simply to view them as someone saying hey I'm here. Not a reprimand. She drove so well

Loved the look of incredulity on Francis' face at the quality of execution of the parallel park. Sorry to be 'that person' but Newbury is in Berkshire. Just over the border from Hampshire. Know it well, as I'm about hakf an hour down the A339 (in Hampshire).

26:34 so unfortunate she didn’t look all around before starting to reverse but overall she’s a very good driver, I could tell by your reaction Francis you was disappointed but apart from the serious fault that parallel park was absolutely amazing! I knew she’d pass her real driving test. 🙃

I’m so happy she passed, I passed at this same test centre, in the same car at @7:50 😂 was trying to figure out if that was me in the blue learner car! Even after passing tolworth roundabout is still one of the hardest roundabouts I’ve taken!

@@DrivingSchoolTV Thanks man, but ummm...I've just had to cancel it and move it to another date (currently August as that's the nearest) as I'm just not test-ready AGAIN. It's getting very discouraging BUT it is what it is. At least I didn't lose my test fee and it's just a case of keep slogging away until I finally fucking crack this basatad!!!! 😤✊

@@DrivingSchoolTV "What happened to make you feel like that?" - Me not being up to par in my mini mock tests/general driving mate. I don't own a car and the only lessons I get are with my instructor (she's great). So she wouldn't put me in if I'm not ready because it's her car and it reflects badly on her with a very good pass rate. I also KNOW that I'm not test-ready. It does get to me a bit when I consider how much time, effort and money (and TRUST, it's a hell of a lot) into trying to learn how to drive. I'm just one of those people that for whatever reason, it just doesn't really 'gel' for me. It's why I watch your videos and a few other channels (Aman's especially). I can theoretically drive; I just can't drive well enough yet to be pass-standard....

i did extra 15 hours, money was not issue as i saved up so soon as i started i can just go for it, 3 hours a week and leading up to test did do few 6 hour weeks. i felt if i failed it set me back far more than 15 hours. so i was told i was ready at 40 hours so my instructor ramp up to places you never go test a lot more challenging so what ever was thrown at me on test it should be easy then my main thing is driving bit focus a lot less on, mainly focused keeping nerves in check. it worked passed first time 2 minors but that near end of test like moving out in to mostly stopped traffic without a signal but it was clear they letting me out so it was safe, and think one hesitation i stopped when clear to go. but test was 55-58 mins long it was never ending, fast 70 roads, tight streets Warwick, loads towns, big motorway roundabouts, single rack and narrow country lanes it had it all. so pretty happy passed first time even tho it was a very long test so long we got back and other test was waiting outside so they had easy test. crazy thing was the test center at back place the store brand new cars no plates and badly parked and very tight so had to navigate through them to start test. all my minors were after the average test length but the extra lessons gave me more time to ask questions and get a very good understanding, like what do you do if you put parking brake on but car slides but you must get out to clear a small tree, put it in gear and handbrake and hope it holds happened when i went on a forest track what turned in to a mud track then after bit more to y junction what in way id make it up so 3 point turn on very slippy y junction on edge mountain in the forest that my first week exploring. so extra training came helpful

Hi that's interesting to know that if you don't have a driving instructor you drive much better as I do in my partners car, I have been learning for 3 years 2 failed test moved to different city new driving instructor had a few in Kent as couldn't get on with some one driving instructor directed me to wrong test centre last October got to correct test centre too late. Now moved to my new house had instructor she went sick had another instructor he didn't stop given me a running comentry put me off. Now got another instructor so there for has to change my test day to later date. She said its just my confidence bit nervous and feels I know everything. So I'm actually thinking of continuing in my partners car and doing test in his once I've been around the test route few times with my instructor, I feel I've had lots of practice, over the 3 years long time I know but the moving house from westmidlands to Kent has made it longer and few tests about. Any advice about me just driving in my partners car now and doing test as I feel more confident in his car. Sorry for the long message love the videos

@@TheDYNAMITE001thanks! 😊. Yes the test is the same wherever you take it. You fail at 16 faults. But you can only get between 3-5 in the same category (up to the examiner where they turn repeated faults for the same thing into a fail)

I have a question, when Francis was turning right on the first road would that not be a fault because it wasn’t a box junction or central reservation? She stayed in the middle of the road unless it’s different in certain areas?

It is fine to pull out half way as long as you don't impede anyone who has priority over you 😊 that would mainly be traffic coming from your right

Nikon d850 my fav camera id like to own when prices fall enough as new no way i could afford. got Nikon d800e at the mo with 36mp full frame without the AA anti-aliasing filter The simple answer is to produce sharper images with more details and better resolution. The AA filter removes information. a camera ive used for 5 years now it a great bit kit the biggest event i do yearly is fireworks display at the local castle and many times my images gets in to local paper even a few front page, and what noticed this year a lot advertising used my images so even a city paper it was in Birmingham so a lot people seen my images. as it a charity even the round table i do not mind i told them use the images to help them. its a hobby due to health reasons as i was going to try make something out of it as i spent years learning and practicing did an event for a mate and it far too much, but now im growing desert and tropical plants and trying to turn that in to something and a good image you already half way to selling your product so photography ive learned not go to waste as i practiced in all types like product, landscape, long exposure, event and people, macro, nature and have a very good understanding the camera and light so it still be very useful. next upgrade will be d850 more mp and very like what i got now but update functions and mirror what like more, even my camera now was compared to camera worth £50k at the time for image quality and Nikon think won it out on many aspects and a amazing studio camera, started with a sony powershot think its called a bridge camera and very fast i found limits of it them moved to d5300 nikon as my first proper camera and i have print on my wall from it with amazing detail, if one image no good take a multi image pan and stitch them together and shot in portrait for that to get wider pan, that huge image on my walk was pretty river in wales in the woods made up of 8 30 sec long exposures using a good 10 stop nd filter. some the images i got out my d5300 dose put some my images from d800e to shame but both cameras ive got prints on my walls. d850 its a top camera just as good as any modern top camera, i be staying old school and i got a lot lenses what fit even lenses from 40 years ago from my dad use with an adapter, way to much to replace and even my first nikon in new condition stored away i prob never sell, do not ever plan selling any my cameras so i feel the d850 be the last upgrade i buy one day as since them most mirror less but these cameras are built to last a very long time and can be fixed and maintained more than enough camera i ever need and not so long ago all the pro images you seen in advertising or mags that camera most likely taken them so it more than plenty for what i need. even my mum decided the Nikon route more recently as she seen me with my nikons and ive had no issues, she went bridge camera she more than happy and software and zoom is crazy great for what she wants to photograph like small birds and birds prey but to get gear to to that with dlsr it staggering cost 10's thousands to get that reach where she fill the frame its still a dot on my camera so i have to get closer even with 300 lens with 2x extender
