You need to be calm..Try chewing gum, it will help with the nerves..you could also do some sort of commentary (saying what you’re doing, like “mirror check, signaling left”.. it will also help the examiner believe you know what you’re doing..plus try to be chatty and nice upon starting your test, I asked my examiner how long he had been in the job and what he does for hobbies (thankfully he is a United fan and we joked about the FA and how I felt bad about my team(arsenal) not winning the league. Just assume you’re giving the examiner a lift and he/she isn’t your examiner. I hope this helps.. Good luck mate💪🏾

If you break down on a clear way would you get fined? I’d like to think not as it’s not your fault if you break down.

You most certainly wouldn’t! You can stop anywhere if you’re broken down. If you get a parking ticket or fine you can contest it with some proof of the breakdown, like recovery receipt

I'm so confused by the "directional indicators" question. I've seen a lot of instructor videos about using the Hazard Lights and getting out to check, but the RAC website says something totally different? I have my test soon and these last minute confusions are so stressful 😭
