Cannot fucking believe this. We have lost an absolute stalwart of our scene. Not only that but an even better person, someone who believed in humanity and giving back. He went the extra mile. He gave a fuck. He did so much for the youth through his music workshops and fundraising, not only in Detroit but around the world. This is an uncomprehensible loss. Your music will live on forever. One of the greatest moments I have ever had on the dancefloor was during a set of his. He played in Heideglühen in Berlin, dropped Move Your Body by Marshall Jefferson to the first sunrays coming through the skylight. Absolute bliss. RIP Mike.

Mike sold me a quarter of my record collection between Buy-Rite Music on Seven Mile and Record Time on Gratiot in Roseville. He was one of our go to people when me and my crew were coming up as DJs in Detroit. He will be sorely missed.
