Size is good on your wrist. Thats the beauty of Royal Oak, a watch where the different sizes of 37, 38, 39 and 41 fits most wrist sizes , but dresses very differently. Its hard to judge from a video clip, but the 41mm with black dial looks ok on your wrist, but a bit on the large side. The 37mm serms to match your wrist and hand much better. The dial colour is awesome. Well done and congrats. 🎉

37mm is the perfect size indeed for a medium wrist. The price however has become excessive imo for such a watch with no screw down crown, only 50m wr and the removal of the beautiful rotor with the coats of arms of the Audemars and Piguet families (featured on the previous version 15450). But the RO remains a great icon of course: congratulations and wear it in the best of health! And thanks for sharing your purchase experience.

@ I see what you mean, but not for me: no caliber to admire, except on very expensive Daytonas or on 1908. And everything is machine made, whereas the RO has very high-end finishing on both case and bracelet. For me, the true rival of the RO would rather be something like Chopard’s Alpine Eagle, which is more than 10k less expensive but is still very highly finished, with 100m WR and a screw down crown.

The thing about the Royal Oak is its SOOO much better brand new fresh and crisp like this, the finish in person is just other worldly - The Royal Oak is an experience in and of itself in watch collecting - and Im not totally biased saying that lol Im a major Rolex fanboy too lol.. Im still enjoying my 26240or! Can’t wait to get out there to Dubai for a visit someday still!

Nice blue RO. 37 mm here too - just fully serviced 1968 Seamaster 120 manual wind no date with discrete bakelite bezel and original jubilee-style bracelet. Depending on what you wear, a very nice size.

Definitely picked the correct size. 37mm looks large but nothing out of proportion (as a 'showpiece' watch should) on your wrist. The perfect size absolutely.

I think that the textured dial on the Code 11.59 was a mistake. But everyone has their opinion! I have a blue fumé smooth dial, and it is simply wonderful. However, your ice-blue 37mm is really great - well done! I also have my grail - a blue 15500. I wouldn't swap it for anything. You need a big wrist, but I have one.
