Personally, I am from Romania, but I have the greatest envy towards the Irish, an envy wrapped in love, envy because the Irish have the most beautiful music in the world, such a turbulent history, they and those from Scotland, I have never been to Ireland or Scotland, but my dream is to reach those lands full of history God bless Ireland and Scotland

Amazing performance. Makes me sad I was never able to see them live but I'm glad to have KZbin videos. I sure hope I can still see Sean and The Dublin Legends live one day here in Belgium. The amount of respect and admiration I have for these musicians is huge. Rest in peace Ciaran, Luke, Ronnie, Jim, Barney and Eamonn.

I share your sadness about never having seen them live, but I was fortunate enough to see The Dublin Legends live in Hamburg, Germany this week and the concert was awesome! If you get the chance, go and see them! Before I was unsure if I'd may leave disappointed if they wouldn't be able to perform at their old age (Séan Cannon is 82 years now I think) but their performance was perfect. Séan is still going strong, likewise the rest of the band. The crowd was a loveley mix of old and young people all geniunely enjoying irish folk. Now I have a nice heartwarming memory to think of whenever I tune in again. =)

It was sad to hear Jim McCann do the introduction as his voice had deteriorated so much due to the throat cancer which eventually took his life in 2015. But he did get to appear in the Dubliners last concert in 2012 as a guitarist although he could no longer sing.

While Patsy Watchorn is a very good singer,he goes around for years with a five string banjo that he has never learned to play properly.
