@@amienabled6665 Yeah, I could see Attribute manipulation as a big part of the deck, and I don't think many non-archetype cards would have to be included to make it work considering most generic extra deck monsters reach outside the commonly shared attribute of the deck. I can see the potential pain of a Cold Wave effect because you summoned Crystal Wing, or just not getting a battle plase from your Borreload Savage being summoned. Seeing the effect of Vice Dragon worded as "the player is unaffected by the effects of "Clear World" while this card is on the field" gives the deck a fair bit of potential, and also maybe the field spell could allow you to search a Clear monster if more than 3 attributes are present on field? Negate the effects of a specific attribute for a turn? Draw cards for every unique attributed monster? Who knows.

Armatyle also has some similarities to the “fused” version of the Egyptian Gods, Holactie. Both take the same effort to bring them out, and have something about them that’s game-winning. (Holactie literally having an alt-win condition, Armatyle having access to the largest base stat/increase)

4:02 I wouldn't say it breaks the 4th wall, but tells a story of those monsters getting turned into cards. Same as what Pegasus did, and similar to the stone tablets of ancient Egypt. Those cards were then sent to the Different Dimension by getting Eaten, though how they escaped being cards, idk. We do see a lot of Gagagigo's story told, at least, but D.D Trainer is an odd one. It'd imply that goblin has been back and forth between dimensions a couple times.

It’s good to see more awareness of the “Clear” archetype, they’re honestly my favorite including Yusuke, but also wanted to point out 2:18 unfortunately CVD would not be able to beat over Avatar, it would become double of CVD ATK plus 100. No further change will occur. Also if anyone else is a fan of the “Clear” archetype just like me, I posted a TCG deck profile video not to long ago of these 2 cards!

Small error on Uria, you can respond to its effect just not with spells or traps, you can respond with a monster that negates other monster effects. Just a little clarification for other people so they don't go thinking Uria is that good sadly.

It still bothers me that Hamon is yellow but associated with spell cards (which are bluish-green in color) while Raviel is blue but associated with monster cards (which come in a variety of colors, but the main deck ones are typically yellow or orange). Only Uria got matching colors with the cards he’s associated with.

Armityle is not so bad if summoned with the archetypal fusion spell, Dimension fusion destruction which has the lingering effect that any monster summoned through its effect gains the effect that you do not take battle damage from battles involving it. Additionally it is included on Fallen Paradise as one of the 4 monsters that gains protection from its effects. DFD also changes the summoning requirement by letting you banish the materials from the hand, field or gy. There's also Armityle's retrain, Phantom of Fury who gets sent to your opponents side of the field, banishes all cards they control and gives you a free OG Armityle

Oh hey, someone is bringing up Shura and Idaten, that's a very bizarre pick indeed and yeah I agree that they are unique and don't really fit in a list of some kind unless its something battle related even though they will never be in it, probably. Few things though. 1. Idaten only grabs exactly level 5 monsters, not level 5 or higher. If it was, Idaten would see some play as way to get some choice Warriors like Phoenix Gearfried for a negate (easily doable with the Isolde-Renaud combo) or something funny like grabbing D-Hero Plasma. 2. Idaten and Shura are part of an archetype but not by name. They are a part of the "Star" archetype (I know, very very choice name), which includes level 5 or higher Warriors that does a lot of fusing and a lot of Battle Phase shenanigans. They of course were an anime archetype and the anime versions of some of the printed cards either have absolutely garbage effects or no effect at all. They also have their own unique Fusion spell, that is a quick-play Polymerization during the Battle Phase only. So yeah, I love the Star archetype, I think they are neat.

Something important to add to Armityle; If you use the seacret beast fusion card, Armityle gets bonus protection, in which you don't take any battle damage revolving your fusion summond Armityle. Combine this with his battel destruction immunity and the protection of Fallen Paradis, Armityle becomes one scarry boss monster. Pro tip: If you have 2 materials left, then you could link summon Pentest-Bug, which gives your monster piercing damage.

2:10 Well, about that Avatar vs Clear Vice battle. Both OCG/TCG ruling stated that Avatar would win the battle because its ATK change effect is a continuous one that will always change whenever there is any other monster with highest ATK on the field minus itself. This means if Clear Vice would attack Avatar and doubling its ATK, Avatar's ATK would change to that doubled value +100 and no further change would occur because Clear Vice's effect only triggers during damage calculation. This also means that Avatar is the only monster that can beat Moon Mirror Shield-equipped monster only with ATK value alone, because that card's ATK increase effect is a one time trigger effect during damage calculation.

The Wicked Avatar is unique in that it is the only card with a true continuous attack change effect. As an example, if you have Slifer the Sky Dragon and use Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind's effect on Slifer, then Slifer's attack becomes half its current attack and its attack will no longer change as the number of cards in your hand changes. If you draw another card, Slifer will no longer gain 1000 ATK. However, if you use Gale's effect on the Wicked Avatar, its attack will be halved, but then the Wicked Avatar's effect will immediately make its attack become the highest on the field + 100. This is the only card that modulates its attack continuously.

I run a sacred beast deck with two copies of each beast, getting five on the field is very easy they have fantastic protection from their support, leaving hamon and another with argyle provides protection from card effects and spells and banishment if you’ve got the proper trap and field in play, at that point it’s game, unless you’ve left your opponent a full field of monsters to delay the inevitable

I love the stupid fusion star warriors because of the anime. The character who uses them in Arc-V used conqueror star didn't realize that Xyz cards don't have levels, so conqueror star's effect didn't work. He was memed on for "If they don't have any levels, doesn't that mean there level is 0?" He comes back later and uses Combat Star, whose effect DOES work on Xyz monsters (the attack lowering, the attack increase part doesn't, which is intentional by design). Dude seriously salty about his last lost as he comes in with "If they don't have any levels, it might as well be 0"

imo hamon has more to do with obelisk than ra, despite the yellow color. 4000/4000 stat baseline, plus iirc obelisk had a similar attack redirect effect in the anime

With the new support, Raviel really became a an even bigger beatstick and can just kill everything as long as they lose to the 8k(or more if you use their effect on a spare hamon or another Raviel, its not like they're hard to summon anymore). Sacred Beast was done good with their Structure Deck additions, as opposed to the God Cards which imo are still not really there. It's kind of a shame that they're tied to a win-condition. That's probably why they can't be "TOO" easily spammable

Makes me wonder if the "adult" Eater will ever become an actual monster card. For some reason, I kind of see it as a Link monster with a summoning condition where you banish certain kinds or number of cards to bring it out instead of a normal Link summon. With the Phantom Demons, it's kind of odd to me that Armityle and Raviel have retrains but Uria and Hamon don't.

The retrains for Armityle and Raviel are based on abilities that they had in the anime but were taken away for irl... for Hamon and Uria, these happened in the form of the Continuous Spell 'Cerulean Skyfire' and a Continuous Trap 'Hyper Blaze'... which, like the retrains, were named after the attacks of the Sacred beasts they are meant to support. It was less about retraining them and more about restoring anime effects in a way similar to what has been done for the God cards on multiple occasions.

I would like to see a video on the “signer” dragons (I.e. Stardust, Red Dragon Archfiend, etc.). I want to see the difference between them in the anime and TCG/OCG and the support cards they have and the lack of support between them like how Double Ripple only affects Power Tool Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon or how Majestic Dragon only synchros with Stardust/Red Dragon… not sure if this idea will stick. Armityle’s retrain, Armityle the Chaos Phantasm-Phantom of Fury, is what allows the 10,000 ATK on your turn to play more reliably. Phantom of Fury’s effect let’s you banish every card your opponent controls then special summon the OG Armityle. So if your opponent had a full board chances are their hand is either empty or too small to set up an OTK so Armityle’s 10K will easily beat over anything they bring out

It's just a shame it's spell speed 1 really, if the retrain could be exchanged to the opponent as a quick effect then you could stick them with it at the end of their MP2 and clear them out, since it wipes on end phase. As is it leaves the opponent with an entire turn to out Armatyle before you can actually go in for an attack with it.

I love that Al-Lumi'Raj wins against Shura the combat star, or at least forces a tie against it. This small level 3 rabbit battling to a stalemate with this big deadly level twelve legendary warrior. (Al-Lumi'Raj lowers the attack and defence of all monsters by 300x their level / rank, meaning it lowers by more then Combat star raises) I love it when weird niche cards counter other niche cards, or even better when niche cards counter meta cards (Not saying combat star is meta here)

The effect of Clear World is extremely brokenly powerful if it affect your opponent only, WITHOUT having to rely on a hard to summon and vulnerable monster; except the Light and Earth attribute effects, which does nothing. The 500 LP maintenance can also add up hard.

Armityle is such an OTK beast. Specially with the fusion spell that protects you from any battle damage it would take when its ATK is 0. Too bad Verte is now banned so the strategy doesn't work as well anymore since you have to hard draw it.

When you mentioned Armityle plus Phantom of Chaos, I wasn't expecting you to use the Phantom of Chaos as a Fusion substitute - seems much better to send Armityle directly from the Extra Deck to GY (possibly as cost for something else) and then copy *that* with Phantom of Chaos, thus getting a 10k attacker out of a relatively-easy-to-special-out level 4 DARK Fiend. Dogmatika could probably pull it off? Or send it with Pinpoint Dash if your opponent isn't playing Fusions, or Ultimate Slayer if they are (side in as appropriate). Or Extra-Foolish Burial.

what about the other sacred beast fusion? phantom of fury. This card's name becomes 'Armityle the Chaos Phantasm" while on the field. Once per turn, during your Main Phase. You can give control of this card to your opponent. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card's control was changed this turn: Banish all cards you control, then the owner of this card can Special Summon 1 Armityle the Chaos Phantasm" from their Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions.

What you said about Clear Vice Dragon is wrong, regarding the Wicked Avatar. Rulings have stated that in any scenario, with exceptions only for the Wicked Dreadroot, the Wicked Avatar will always win. In the example you gave, Clear Vice Dragon attacking into the Wicked Avatar, Clear Vice Dragon's attack will become double that of the Wicked Avatar, then the Wicked Avatar's effect will immediately make its attack become Clear Vice Dragon's + 100, and no further change will occur. So the Wicked Avatar will always win this trade.

I bought 3 copies of it and use: Soul Servant x3 Magicians' Souls x3 Illusion of Chaos x3 Dark Magician x2 Dark Magician Girl x1 Magicalized Fusion x1 Dark Magician the Dragon Knight x1 The Dark Magicians x1 Master of Chaos x1 I also crafted Palladium Oracle Mahad, because altogether it gives a pretty solid Dark/Light search engine (so can be used for almost all of the Albaz/Despia Fusions) that also provides an easy means to get two bodies on board (for Protector Whelp or Verte) Also, Incredible Ecclessia is a Spellcaster (so it can be used for The Dark Magicians), and it's easy to recycle; so is Fairy Tail Snow. I'm currently using Alba Lenatus as my second Mirrorjade send, because it can search Branded or Magicalized Fusion (the Branded in Red can be Recycled with the Albion Shrouded/Retribution package, and all of your other Fusions make Retribution live) Since I'm running so many Fusions that require specific material names (Fallen of Albaz, Dark Magician, and Buster Blader) I've found some success dumping King of the Swamp to search Poly (since Albion/Lubellion can use GY for materials) Who doesn't love summoning Dark Paladin?

That Clear Vice Dragon vs Wicked Avatar thing doesn't make sense. What should happen is that Clear Vice Dragon's ATK becomes double that of Wicked Avatar and then Wicked Avatar becomes Clear Vice Dragon's new ATK +100 since it is a continuous effect. This would result in Wicked Avatar winning similar to what happens when it fights Zushin.

Clear vice dragon doesn't trade with avatar. After clear vice resolves, avatars effect makes his attack +100. And then damage calculation occurs. This is tcg/ocg rulings Can someome explain why mr. Logs says otherwise?

What's funny. Clear World was nerfed from the anime version. Anime Clear World. No maintenance cost. Dark: min 1. Can not attack Fire: Take 1000 burn Water: must discard 1 card. Light: Play with hand revealed Earth: Destroy a monster you control at all (Stardust Dragon can not stop it) Wind: You can not play spells at all. Even with the anime version. Only Wind is powerful. Being a better Anti Spell Fragrance. The rest are still bad. Clear Archetype gimmick is that they have no attribute cause anime LORE. This doesn't translate well into the real game. The rest of Clear Archetype is terrible including backrow is terrible. It's supposed to be an attribute stun deck and fails spectacularly

Watch the yugioh gx anime to hear the villain to pronounce the sacred beasts if u want to know how to pronounce properly of uria lord of searing flames.
