Fun fact: This has been possible since 5D's era. Funfact2: The TCG implemented a rule where the player going into infinite loop they need to declare the max number of times they will do the loop after showing how the loop works once. So you cannot use this to let the 45 minute timer run out. If you try it, your opponent can call a judge on you and if you refuse to name a number of loop times you get either a game loss or a disqualify depending on what the judge rules.

Magic the gathering has the same rule regarding infinites. Funnily enough, MTG and Yugioh (the physical card games) are, technically speaking, computers themselves. Ironically they are actually in some ways more capable than current computer machines since (in the case of MtG, as it has no limit on how many cards/tokens can be on the field) infinite RAM.

In real life one of you calls a judge, the loopers shows the judge the loop/combo, the judge asks how many times they want to resolve the loop (I think they are supposed to use a piece of paper but it doesn't really matter) and then you continue on as though they did it that many times. It is probably unreasonable for Master Duel to be able to detect something like this and ask though.

@@PaladinfffLeeroy he would only get a turn limit in Master Duel afaik at least thats what happened to me, randomly after my turn I automatically lost for some reason ("No winner after 3 turns"), according to Google that was because people reported me (I was playing Floo and Eldlich at that time so my guess is people being salty)
