Lynn Ahrens wrote the song "The Preamble" from the 1975 Schoolhouse Rock! episode of the same name. The song explains how the Constitution was created, and includes humorous images.

On one of my my 9th grade history class tests, 1978, we were told to write out the preamble of the US Constituion. You knew when someone was on that part of the test because you would hear them humming this song. I wish they had done a song for the Gettysburg Address.

How do you learn anything from this? The preamble doesn't really say anything substantial.
