Funnier than the skit(mind you it is hilarious), is that doing a school house rock bit on how this is illegal, and one of the many reasons why it is bad for the country is what we need in this day and age. Finn Boone Also Finn, It is not the amount of executive orders that is troubling, or illegal(no one disagrees with executive orders as a rule they disagree with the EO itself). It is the context of those executive orders and what he is using them for. The left are pretending the president is being obstructed by congress so he needs to do this. Well we are forgetting one thing- congress is there for exactly that reason. Congress represents the the American people, not Barack Obama. Congress job is to prevent terrible bills from being passed. Obama side steps and makes up his own laws as he goes along. "things that don't work in our governement"??, more like, "things that government does that doesn't work for the people". The mentality of looking for solutions via the government is a fallacy that has been programmed into too many peoples thinking. Government is the reason for the division in this country, not the result of. Government loves division, it keeps them relevant. If we had no black vs white, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and a host of other so called "leaders" would be out of a job. If we had no right vs left, a whole lot of government workers would have to find something else to do, like protecting blacks/whites/hispanics from threats outside of our country. Government is like that busy body we all know, that just has to create a problem where there isn't one, just to feel relevant. I remember the day when people said of the "conservatives", "you can't legislate morality", but now it's the progressives trying to do just that. This all goes to show, the problem isn't who holds the power, but who the power holds!

If we were more educated as a nation, we'd be wiser to the fact that those in power, and our so called community "leaders," are in fact dividing us resulting with a completely polarized government. The government can be the solution to many problems as long as those who vote are educated and vigilant enough to vote for those who actually have the nation as whole in their sight, and not for extremists who only wish to divide us and the government even further. I understand your jaded view of the government and it tells me how much our leaders have failed us. We shouldn't be cynical and have jaded views of our leaders and our government and yet here we are. If change is to come, it will happen when the american public can open their eyes and see far past what divides us and into what can actually unite us and make us stronger as a people and country.
