The way the shed was built sets the trend on how seriously you took this massive undertaking!

Oh wow, having a shed to cover your project is brilliant and makes life so much easier. Plus it’s a work of art in itself!

Nice build. I'm intending to build a walipini of 72'x24', and I reckon that gothic arches are the way to go. Great when people don't over complicate projects, as life's too short.
@TheDuracellProject2 жыл бұрын
Yes these plans would be amazing for a walipini. Good luck with that. Here's a link to the plans I used: www.lsuagcenter.com/portals/our_offices/departments/biological-ag-engineering/extension/building_plans/horticultural/greenhouse/gothic-rafter-greenhouse

Hi. Iv just watched your series of vids on the restoration. Very impressed. I also built a bow shed recently, but saved a lot of money by shortening the actual lenght of the shed, and instead of raising it on footings, I built it on two tracks, allowing me to move it along my project when necessary. Maybe a thought for the future. Good luck with the new boat. Regards Jack from Ireland

How clever-love that! I would love to see plans or pictures of the track system.

@@TheDuracellProject afraid I never had plans of any sort, I just used levelled concrete sections, 5 x 3 inch depth and width on top of a line of 9 inch solid blocks. Tin plate on top of this, and 6x 9inch fiberglass casters for the structure to run on.

Neat arch construction. Perhaps you will extend it to enable more work in bad weather.

I was hoping you wouldn't change the dog house . That is what made "Duracell" so recognizable. In your first video the camera panned along the boat from the ground allowing just a glance at the dog house roof and I said: Duracell ! and then that scooped transom, I said Yes! I knew it! Duracell.

Beautiful shed mate, a wee bit open at the ends though. A friend rebuilt a 40' in a hand built shed on Lake Superior, wicked cold place Duluth is, solar heating helps when the sun is out but probably not much of that there.
