4:16 Analyses of Mr. Alexander about Russians trying to strangle Turkey forces, may not be a 100% accurate. Perhaps they are just pulling the much power they can to counter the balance with Turkey as a platform for negotiations that will yield the best outcome for BRICS. This is my take. Russia needs Turkey, it's the main player for BRICS, they are traying to get them to the point of no return as far as BRICS. This is my take. If Israel is thinking of taking over territories for its benefit, it is not. Instead, it is merely expanding the land for its cemeteries." If the US leave the Kurds in Syria... how is Israel and Turquia via Iraqi Kurdistan getting the oil? And if they leave the Kurds, they will need support, and someone will fill the gap. Turkey fixed Syria by ending the Assad regime and installing its own puppet regime. The EU will provide aid to fix the country wrecked by civil war. Erdogan is a military and political genius.

Thats right! Syria now belongs to the Turks. Make no mistake about it

Here is my $ 50M question …. Why does the US and NATO continue to allow a nation in Turkey , who has joined BRICS, constantly tries to play one major power vs another, etc. to remain in NATO?

Because it's strong and influential and formidable af even more than superpowers, not everywhere but in the region.

Libyan ports are visited by nato countries every day, especially the UK. Turkey has a say in all ports west of Bingazi.. It will be impossible for Russia to set up base there. PS: next on the Kebab menu: Haftar.

The naval and port facilities are extremely useful to the Russians, their only exclusive Mediterranean port. Not sure about the air base, perhaps that's not so important to them.

It makes no sense for Russia to stay. They have already replaced the EU as a customer for their energy resources with Asia. Syria might become a drain on their resources.

People or groups with weak hands tend to make bad choices, or in some cases, the only choice they have which is usually a bad one.

I should say a fair assessment, whilst not exaggerating “Erdogan’s being in control”. An additional point: This move from him will be used to trigger an early election in TR. This is one of the rare ways he could win though highly unlikely considering the economic situation.
