How to replace a gearbox mount Renault Clio 2 and other.

In todays video we are going to replace the gearbox mount on a Renault clio 2.
But it almost the same if not the shame on the cars listed below.

Powerflex kitPff60-211k will fit into febi 29502 engine dogbone! So this means it will fit a lot of Renaults. My 2001 Clio from 2001 has this setup now. The dogbone from a Twingo from arround 2011 fits on my Clio. And the powerflex kit fits the Twingo dogbone. Drives great now!

Im sorry but, renault workshop manual from 2001, says that the gearbox bolt is 110nm and the chassi one 62nm Thank you for the video btw! Replaced mine yesterday 😁

Nice Video Man. I am going to do it on my Kangoo because the engine movement makes the gear stick move a lot and it is very annoying. Also I am very curios to know what is that metal pipe that runs parallel to the right of the mount. I have researched it on the internet but I cannot figure it out. Thanks.

That bar is the shift linkage.

@@TheDutchGarage Hi there. I replaced it in my kangoo and driving has got a little bit better. Do you think that changing all the other engine mounts and filling this dogbone mount with tigerseal may substantially improve the rocking and jerking of the engine in its bay? Thank you

I replaced this part on my clio mk2 and its still the same no difference still has movement when accelerating, i researched this and its normal as renault designed this to happen

Check your other mounts, It could not rocking noticeably.

There are 3 mounts I believe 1 engine and 2 gearbox.

Where did you find the NM of bolts 🔩? Are those the same in other cars?

Most of the time online. I search on the car and then NM or torque specs. Or just workshop manual.

You just tighten the bolt and say "KLIK" really loud. 😂

zijn de verschillende modellen motorsteun door elkaar heen te gebruiken? ik heb namelijk een andere besteld dan wat er precies onderzit. ik heb zo'n vierkante besteld wat jij hebt in het filmpje en er zit een ronde onder de auto. kan ik deze wel erop zetten?

Klopt een gestampt metalen en een aluminium. Ik weet niet zeker als je ze kan uitwisselen. Het kan zijn dat de ene langer is als de ander.

@@TheDutchGarage Ik heb met een lokale renault garage gebeld. de monteur zei dat als de gaten oplijnen je het gewoon eronder kan zetten. Heb het gedaan en de clio rijdt weer een stuk fijner!

I have an exact same clio, but when I press the gas pedal in 1st and 2nd gear the car shakes a LOT, and every time I shift gears there’s a very loud clunking noise coming from what seems to be the transmission. The gears don’t seem to slip or make any noise. So I’m wondering if it’s just the case of bad engine/transmission mounts and old oil?🤔

Check motor/transmision mounts first.
