I could feel the love of this man to his wife. The eternal love. Family in the Philippines is love. The only country where you see or feel the love, kindness, respect, the smile everywhere, happiness even how big or small they have as long as family is intact. Very religious people.

Having been in a couple of countries in Europe and being a Filipino, in my opinion it does not belong in the Philippines. For such a poor country, the money in building this Temple should have been better serve in some kind of Charity. I understand his love for his wife, but spending this much for a building is a think is a disgrace to poor people of the Philippines. Why would want to build a building like you are back in Europe????? If you want to build a building, then build something that is more Filipino!

Jade Wolfy that's because he made it for his wife and his wife alone. I don't see it as a disrespectful manner. I live in cebu myself. it attracts people and when there is people there is business and when there is business there are jobs, especially in the lower class. why give them food when you can give them an opportunity to earn it themselves. it may not be the most efficient way but since that wasn't his intention in the first place, it's better than expected.

Jade Wolfy FYI the money that he build for he's wife is he's money not for other people.. I guess he already help enough to gave other people job to the temple.. Beside that's he's lot not from someone lot.. If poor people always wait for other to help them they just stuck has a poor one.they need to work their ass off to have a better life,their Rich family's cos they work hard for what they have.and alot tourists who always go there and they feel the loved... No body ask you if you like them or not.. Has if you can stop him to build that.. You don't have a gutz to stop them.. So shut up okay..
