Luckily I've had the privilege of going there. I was there in August 1990. Sadly when I went I was stuck behind a woman who was scared so much she went at a snails pace. This brings back so many memories of my trip. I hope to go back to Europe someday soon. Thank you.

I remember going on this in 2018, and our 'challenge' was to attempt the whole run without breaking. Resulted in coming off the edge, ramming into the back of each other, and a lot of laughing. Absolutely love to go again.

This is one of the coolest sled rides I’ve seen, although not that long compared to others the fact that it’s not on a track seems like it’s faster and smoother than others. I had a very wholesome moment when I was on a vacation in Austria (next to switzerland) hiking. A bunch of curious cows started following me for like 30 minutes. I thought they stopped following me, so I had a break. 1 minute later I heard the bells and in seconds I saw a big cow staring at me from a distance. I ignored them because I knew they weren't chasing/attacking me. The curious cows came closer and closer and closer until they were less than half a meter away from me. They were very friendly. One of them constantly tried to lick me. I spent a good 10 minutes chilling with them. I guess they just wanted to say hello.

Absolutely beautiful view of the mountains! We actually had one of these here in Chattanooga Tennessee when I was a kid called the Alpine Slide on Raccoon Mountain. We use to ride it all the time and had a blast but of course our mountains here in Tennessee are nothing compared to Switzerland. Lol. But still an awesome ride. Great video!

I agree with you, I've been 3 or 4 times, skiing the Alps in Zermatt.. 1 time we skied over to the Italian side & a different trip I stayed in Chamonix France, all beautiful places in the Alps, but having the Matterhorn as a backdrop is just amazing!!! ❤️🇨🇭⛷️
