The Bret Hart DVD might be number 1 for me, as he is my all time favourite. It was great to see a collaboration between him and the wwe.

Great pick. That collaboration was a HUGE deal at the time, definitely a dvd that no one expected to see back in the day, it was a big event when it was released way back in 2005 (and lead to his HOF induction a few months later). 😀

Pre-digital/streaming, WWE actually gave a damn about their content. 2006-2008 i was collecting most of the dvd's you mentioned. I may repurchase to take a stroll down memory lane.

Agreed, I would say they started really digging in from around 2004ish till the network was launched after that they were half assin and hardly anything come out good.

When I was 10 I used to hate that the dvds had a documentary. I only wanted to see matches and didn’t care for the docs. Now, I regret turning down many wrestling dvds that I can’t find locally anymore like the Bret Hart best there is best there was and best there ever will be, The Four Horsemen dvd, The Randy Savage story, and the Rise and fall of WCW. Man I wish I could slap young me in the face😒.

Its funny because at first i was the opposite. I only watched the docs. It wasnt until i started seriously collecting until i started paying attention the total package. Not Lex. But the run time, the doc, the match selection, and the artwork.

Glad both the AWA and World Class dvds made THE LIST (😉), two of the best old school documentary WWE has produced. I'm a bit disappointed the Starrcade collection didn't make the cut haha, personally it's one of my Top 10. Fun video, thank you! 😊👍🏻

Probably the best breakdown of the top dvds and arguably a top 25 dvds for beginners to get as these sets have some great docs and matches and some of these sets won’t be on the network ever like the Eddie because of the Benoit interviews and the Benoit set

I wish I got to see the Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit Story before they removed it. 3 reasons 1.) I didn't start watching WWE at least starting back in 2006 or 07. 2.) Didn't have the wrestling network at the time being 3. Didn't collect wrestling dvds till later in my life (2013), I started at least from what I remember

Couple things...that roddy piper 4 disc came from circuit city. A store that isnt even around anymore. And im pretty sure thats the only exclusive they ever did. That edge tin comes with decade of decadence, judgment day 2009 and royal rumble 2010. Also you mentioned that misprint on the Unreleased 1986 or whatever it is. Ive heard that mentioned before. Can you elaborate? Is there a super rare misprint version out there?

The undertakers deadliest matches and the streak 20-0 are by far better undertaker dvd sets in my opinion.

And a question id like to bring up, you mentioned you wouldve liked to see some more greatest rivalries dvds. Give us a quick 3 that wouldve been perfect. Austin and The Rock is obvious Hogan and Roddy Piper wouldve been epic I wasnt happy with that Rock/Cena shit they put out. I thought for sure it was gonna at least be both wrestlemania matches. It was a 3 disc set focusing on one match for fucks sake.

As for the Greatest Rivalries series, they really should have done one about Flair and Dusty. The sit-down with the both of them would have been incredibly entertaining and they would have had a huge variety of matches to put on the dvd as extras, missed opportunity. The Flair and Steamboat rivalry deserved its own dvd too.
