These videos are great. It's super cool to have someone out there discussing the game and nuiances. I'm Albanian and live in Kosovo and we play dominoes all the time. Keep making videos and teaching. There's just not enough good educational videos about dominoes. This guy is doing a service. It's just refreshing to me. Mashallah.

Why would Player 2 put the the 5/2 on instead of the 5/5 when they are the 1st to act on their team. Player 4 should be the one supporting Player 2 until Player 2 passes. Then the roles reverse, meaning Player 2 supports Player 4 because they are now leading for their team. Player 3 supports Player 1 until Player 1 passes and then the roles reverse, meaning Player 1 supports Player 3 because they are now leading for their team.

7:57 you must play (4,3) and not (4,5) : your partner shows you that he had the 2, you must maximizing the points of opponent hand (opponent will play (3,1) instead of (5,1) in the case of game will be blocked
@karanbalgo9880
@karanbalgo9880 3 жыл бұрын
That makes no difference at all of its blocked... 4,5 you play 9 points and opponent 5,1 6 points making a gap of 3 points between you and 4,3 you play 7 points and opponent 3,1 4 points also making a gap of 3 points between you 🤔

In the last step,You could have turned the two sides into ones ! Or you could put the double twos on one side and let the other side opened , because the other partner started with ones..
@karanbalgo9880
@karanbalgo9880 3 жыл бұрын
Turning two sides to one basically killing his own double two 🤔 But playing the double two would have been a smart play hoping that his partner got the last two One tiles and the player before his hand actually got the 4 3 instead of 4 1 having played 2 one pieces in the game

This is informative and the thing, I like about Dominoes is there are so many strategies and variations, but in this video the basics you were talking about is helpful but it also is good to know that when you play with different people and they have different strategies the game could always end up having different outcomes,but you always have to stick to your basics and good principles by watching what your partner plays and what your opponents play and remember. And be supportive to your partner always especially if he's in the especially if he's in especially if your partner is in the lead which means he has less Domino's than you

Idk about y’all, but I’m killing that 6 immediately and not worry about showing my partner what I have a lot of yet, I’m the last player to play, I’m playing to make the stater knock and my partner win, let my partner keep. The 6 for when the opener gives him the six. And if I know I have a lot of 2s, my partner probably doesn’t have so I’m not looking to play the two, I’m using it to protect my partner when a 2 comes because it means he probably doesn’t have a 2.

It's good and much better than the novice explanation I saw before. But It's not always like this. Sometime the opponent will take his time to fool you and not because he has more than one play. Moreover, you can mistakenly fool your partner too in that way. And one more thing, who does the player who played double six, could guess that six-three is on the opponent's hand instead of his partner hand.

This is bad I mean dominoes is not about playing your strongest hand for example minute 4:01 he said he will play the three however i would play the five because he has the 5/1 meaning the opponents cannot place the one that’s killing the six so your team8 would likely not be blocked or passed

If the player who has the sixes played 3/5 instead of 6/5 they would have won 100% According to your logic the person with the sixes uses one of his 6th and 7th pieces of the sixes just to not lose his threes His teammate has all the zeros so he should not be afraid of facing a number that most likely will not have to deal with

So at the end when Player 4 has to decide 2/1 or 1/4, why doesn't Player 4 just play 2/2 instead? Player 1's 4/4 would never get on the board. Player 2 had the opportunity to play 4/4 if they had it, so it should have been obvious to Player 4 that Player 2 didn't have it and so Player 4 should have never sent the 1/4 at the end.

It depends on the variation you’re playing. There are many different variations of the game. There’s a variation that counts points by 10-15 after each play. I personally play this way with my family as shown in the video. You count both yours and your opponent’s points, up to 500, with bonuses of 100,75,50,25pts awarded to the winning team of the first 4 hands.

I have to disagree with the move @ 4min:59sec when the opener closed off his 6 with the 6/5.....instead of playing the 3/5..... NEVER EVER close off your own hand. Ever. Ever. EVER! You are in the lead. 6 is your strong suit. Why would you close off your own lead number? If this was being played in Little Havana Miami, his partner would have jumped across the table and smacked fire out of him.

+Hermansyah Djusman that is easy, you just have to pay attention to what they are throwing. always keep in mind there is 7 of a suit. know what number your opponent is throwing, that way you can block him from playing his strong suit. before you play anything you should look at your hand and decipher if you have a high game or low, this can be acknowledge if you have greater than 45 = high or lower than 45 points = low hand.

The second player would never play 5:2 at 5:43, because he is the hand once the first player takes a pass. Player 4 plays for player 2, not the way around. This video is for when you know everything everyone has in their hands, which in dominoes is never. That’s why players 2-4 lost.

+07films If I understand your question correctly, you're asking if it would be acceptable for Player A to play anything but double 6 as his first move. Even though playing double 4 may have produced a better outcome, the short answer is NO, because player A has no information about the bones of the other players. The correct move is then the one which is statistically the best, and that is definitely double 6 because he knows nothing except that 6 is his strong suit.
