I did blast mining from 90-99 about 4 years ago and it was about 700k gp/h back then. Really shows how much resources have devalued over the years

It is amazing and as you go you can travel, shop, fight, collect, solve and improve your gear to infinity and beyond. Not to mention learn how things work to create, how to talk with others, type, and spell. Your friends can join and all be there in real-time or you can play at your own pace alone as I do now that my grandson is all grown...He still plays when he has time. There are people of all ages and many of us started when the game did. You earn what you get and carry a sense of pride for that, because you will work for it.

I've played RS since 2001-2015 consistently, on and off every few months after that but I took a 2 year break recently and I've been having a hard time getting back into it which sucks because I want to love the game like I used to... Just have a hard time playing it alone after so many years playing solo but thanks for the content!

I played RS2 from 2004 - 2012, and have been playing on and off since I found out about OSRS a few years later. I've pretty much been solo the whole time because I don't have any friends... But I do miss 2005/2006 when everyone in school used to play, so I at least had classmates in my friends list. I've never joined a clan because I feel so awkward with things like that... But I miss being 12, back in the casual f2p days when everyone just made friends with strangers from random conversations.

I accidentally made bank by mining. I discovered blast mine at 75 mining, cue me buying 17k dynamite for around 75gp each. Quit for like a year and came back to dynamite being over 1200 each :D turned 1.5m into about 20m

I have 98 mining with expert mining gloves and charged crystal pic. I can get around 100 ores/hr at elven city mines. I wonder if I had the +4 ring how much I’d be making an hour. I need to start mining stardust

I have 96 mining and with crystal pick spec gives me 99 which gives me around 110 ores with ring you should get it but hop off if you see me there I’ll be the guy with the Ely and gold prospector with either achievement diary or 99 pray achievement cape ;)

Your pickaxe does not affect your chance to get ore, only how frequently it rolls for ore.

@zachbunch8701 the higher the pickaxe level the more often it performs the check to get the ore. The check to get the ore is determined by your mining level and the type of rock. The rune pickaxe is much faster than adamant. The dragon and higher pickaxes are marginally faster than rune.
