Why can EFL not put the time/score on their highlights? Some contractual broadcast issue or...?

My (somewhat educated) guess is that the feed they use for highlights is the raw truck feed and the feed that goes out to broadcast goes through the control room's GFX console (where they add graphics like score and keys) So basically they are editing highlights from the "clean" feed and not the broadcast feed.

The handball decision was disgraceful. Surely the Lino saw it. You could even see it from space it was that obvious.

This is a good example of why I find the handball rule so problematic. Yes, I agree, it technically should be a handball, the defender's arms were not in a "natural position," though by common sense, they actually were. He was just running toward the play in a normal manner. You can't run without actually moving your arms. He certainly wasn't purposefully trying to play the ball with his arms, the kick was blasted toward him from a short distance. The purists would scoff and be outraged, but I think the handball rule as it stands is too unrealistic and dramatically impactful and needs to be modified.

​@@yoregano it's one of those plays that are down to the refs interpretation. defender had about 2 seconds of looking at the ball after that deflection, it's probably the right call

Blatant penalty should have been for Sutton early in 2nd half!! Lucky. Struggling for form is an understatement. Defence is the problem and far too predictable tactics.

Agreed. Earlier in the season they looked a cut above Div 2, but now they look very much like they are where they belong. Will be interesting to see if they can gel again.
