You're right, but obviously Edwards is trying to unscramble the omelete and fundamentally change the way Luton play and I think we really do need to persevere down the road of playing out the back to a certain extent and just get better at it, it's as simple as that - we don't need to do it all the time, we can still be pragmatic and mix things up when we need to BUT whilst it's possible to do well in the Championship, and even get promoted, just lumping the ball forward into a 50/50 situation and then pressing / pouncing on mistakes high up the pitch, if there's one thing our recent experience in the PL taught us it's that ceding possession like that to most teams at that level just ends in disaster. We have to learn to be comfortable keeping hold of the ball if we are going to survive in the Prem when we go back up, whenever that might be. But, yeah, it's frustrating to watch at the moment and I don't expect us to go back up this season. Maybe next.
