Shockingly, what has never been broached about October 7 is that it is highly unlikely that Hamas resistance fighters would have engaged in any of the criminal actions alleged by Israel during the uncertainty of combat when the survival instinct would have been dominant. Sure, that kind of illegal activity takes place during war but usually during lulls in the fighting. No such lull existed on October 7 as the insurgents were under fire even when pulling back to Gaza and under the fear of increased fire as Israeli armor and air support began arriving.
