Lovely HydroSpray Touch Free - Best Wash, Appleton WI

Further up the road in Wisconsin, Jason and I found our second-ever HydroSpray system. This appeared to be an older model with a stainless steel design... very reminiscent of the Southern Pride Turbo. These guys call themselves the "Best Wash"... it's definitely the best laugh I've had in a while. We had a lot of fun documenting this thing, but I would have been seriously annoyed if I paid $14 to get my car washed and this was the result. Clearly not much maintenance going on here.

the fact it wobbles on every turn and even lifts during high pressure makes this look like it was just handmade with scrap parts, LOL. BONUS : the motor on this thing is loud, like, it feels even more homemade, you can clearly hear the motor start at 2:56

Not a fan of these systems at ALL, but this one is unique. It’s different from the other older HydoSprays, as those ones have the bulkier and roundish arms. This one has a similar arm to the Southern Pride systems.

Interesting system. Never seen them in my area. 0:53 Sounded like an old cold war era siren. Would scare the crap out of me if we had those things here.

It definitely looks like it was a tunnel car wash at one time. The door on the side was probably there to access the car wash when the overhead doors were closed.

Have used this wash before. Not the best not the worst. The calumet fast wash in Appleton has a futura system that you might want to check out. Too bad the best wash in Oshkosh shut down good navigator system in there. Just needs to be bought.
