Hey man great vid mean no offense here but have you ever considered keeping a couple pieces of plywood maybe with you or your worker just because jumping on top of a trash container to push it down can be really dangerous. You never know if some junkie on the street threw needles in there or other things that can harm you. If you put a piece of plywood sheet on top and jump down on that it is at least a bit safer with less chance to touch the stuff below.
@angelag.727 Жыл бұрын
Interesting viewing thanks for that. A few tips, get a giant gorrilla brush for sweeping the bays, so much quicker when the broom is 2ft wide. Put large plastic rubbish bags inside the trash bins, then you just lift the bag, tie it up neatly and sling it. No need for workers to unchain and lift all the bins and tip them, health and safety. The big bin will also be tidier too.
@CarWashChronicles Жыл бұрын
Tried that. Didn’t work. Homeless always took the bags. They always broke (even the tough ones) leaking everywhere and it’s just another expense. Much better in my opinion without them.
@angelag.727 Жыл бұрын
That is so sad that a plastic bag is precious to a homeless person:( We dont have the same issues here in UK, lots of business' use giant bags in the wheelie bins. Keep up the good work.@@CarWashChronicles

I'm an electrician in California. With your mechanical room full of pressurized water lines you need a cover on your electrical distribution panel. Trust me bro that can get ugly. You work hard for your business and you don't want things to go sideways in that room. That can be very expensive. Of course, my comment is months later so you may have already fixed that. But just in case you haven't, please get a cover on that panel. Love your videos.

I know nothing of awaiting properties let alone carwashes. A broker told me that many times abandoned and for sale properties aren't publicly listed. I have been finding the ones around here are owned by non profits. Had a time tracking down the directors. So I have been considering using a car wash broker. I've wanted a car wash for so long but never fully looked I to what it was to own one as I didn't have the means or credit to aquire one. Now I do and I am looking deeper. Any advice is helpful. What about those carwash schools for new owners? Do you recommend them?

That security bar is easy to defeat my man. With a strong cable and a tow hitch, it's pulled off in 5 seconds. Or, if someone tunes into The Lockpicking Lawyer, cut that time in half. You use an old Master lock- those things are a joke. Not a secure lock at all. Someone could simple knock those pins out of the hinge. I hope you have a security light, cameras with back up power and cellular dialers to the police and alarms. You would be better off securing that door from the inside or better yet, hire a local security expert. Your solution is honestly a joke. Very easily defeated. It will only discourage a casual homeless person- not a real thief determined to get in. You also just showed what is inside- not a smart move. How much is YOUR time worth? You won't get rich by sweeping your own floor. That is $7/hr. work my man. You could be running 5 other car washes and doing business deals. Instead, you are picking up litter. Think about it. Prisoners and homeless people do this. Value yourself and your time more than this. Tell yourself you are a $1,000 an hour bloke...and soon you will become one. Tell yourself, you must go pick up garbage and you will become a garbage man. It's fine, honest work but you won't get rich this way.
