In 2002, when I was 17, the Argentinian polo team played in Ontario, Canada where my parents used to have a second house. I brought my Minolta camera (my dad's from the 1970s) and started snapping photos. The Argentinian players all lined up at the end of the game and let me take a photo of them. Hot guys! I got home....just a walk back to my house...only to find no film was loaded in the camera. I'll always have the memories though.

I'm not sure if it's about "wanting to sound as X". I think that when you really like learning languages, you make efforts to perfectionate your pronounciation as much as possible. Best way to do so is to listen and immitate native speakers, and as a result you end up getting to sound more like them (for the most cases, at least).
