The issue with labels is label owners like Diddy and Birdman barely promote their artists and think them just being on the label team is enough. Chance could find a good balance of being a fair owner, since he's young and cares about the subject of the issue.

theres no particular balance, finance doesnt work that way, unless they take charity donations. They would have to put money into an artist to be able to promote that artist, nothing is free, then the artist has to do "work" so they get that money back. Art is how its perceived by the general public, so just because they think that artist is talented doesnt mean that the world will think that. so after they spend all this money, they will make a loss if the artist doesnt make it. Now tell me, would you put your money on the line ? coz that is how it works, overall, record labels have portflios, some make money some dont, so they rip everyone off to make an overall profit
