RE: Golden Gaytime As an Aussie, I can re-assure everyone that the Streets confectionery company deliberately used that slogan. This icecream was first released in 1959 with the name Golden Gaytime, and while the term "gay" may have changed meaning three times, they kept the name and just used it as a marketing ploy. :)
