Can't believe you all were in Boone. I live an hour away. All the mountain towns are amazing. Black Mountain has lots of eclectic shops and breweries. Three city tour is Boone, blowing rock and banner elk. All in the area of grandfather mountain. People from all over the world visit grandfather mountain. I was there this summer. A lot of upper class folk live in the that area in the summer for the cooler temperatures. Hope to see more of nd in your adventures.

Not enough butter or buttermilk to help it stay together and be less crumbly. However, most biscuits do fall apart easily. Some recipes add yeast to help it stay together. But it looked delicious.

OH my gosh. My dad lives in Boone and go there every year. I would go more often, but we live in Chicago. We even got married there. You have to go back in the summer and check out the Highland games on Grandfathers Mountain and The Land of Oz. Also, The Horn of the West. Boone and Banner Elk are awesome! Americans seem really loud here and in New York series. Like cat reminds of nenet dog and dingo I took to Blowing Rock in 2006. Both died summer 2015 after not knowing how to nurse and riots in Baltimore. . .live close to a tied to black history city, Winston Salem, plus recent death in family, killed pet cherub life. My black cat been nursing since his companion, dog died in 2017, both 2008 rescues from sister in Asheville who worked for Biltmore Estate. Got married and was going to turn them in to a shelter. Now she has a sheltie, like when we were young. People crazy or just more into celtic than native Appalachian dog like she had with cat. Anyways the three dogs bred by indigenous people, nenet in Siberia, other 2 in NC Native American. Liked seeing cat as dogs still with us in spirit 5 -7 years gone. That Blowing Rock has legend of Chickasaw Cherokee lovers, like Romeo and Juliet with wind bringing loved one back from death, resurrection from cliff. theblowingrock.com/legend-of-the-blowing-rock/
