You two are awesome! My husband and I have been to New Orleans many times (it’s our favorite city to visit), and we’ve watched tons of KZbin videos trying to get ideas for future trips. So many videos go to the same places - the same restaurants, the same expeditions. Everything you two did was something I haven’t seen in other videos. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You two rock!

If I recall correctly, the New Orleans trolley system began with Horse-drawn cars (and then steam locomotives) back about 1835. Toronto began its trolley system using electric cars about 1860. New Orleans changed over to electric about 30 years later. I love trolleys and train.

This video is bringing back so many great memories bar one, and that was i had to go to the dentist, [ yuk ], my husband was a captain on a cargo ship and i use to travel the world with him and of course New Orleans was one port of call we made, you are actually going to the places i looked at. Oh boy that was a great time. I even bought myself a cookbook of New Orlean dishes.

Very pleased you both had such a great time in New Orleans. It looks beautiful - I have never been there. I grew up in Oakland and we had a delicatessen which served "po-boys" and they were a treat - however I realize now a very sad imitation of the real thing. So far, in London - I haven't come across one. I was very jealous. Keep well and hope everything turns out alright with your van.

Great video as always! I've been meaning to go back to New Orleans to see more of the town than the hotel my convention was at and Bourbon St... I'm an amateur bartender, and had to look up the Sazerac. I'm not an anise fan, but found a variation for a blood orange version using orange bitters and orange liqueur that is now in my files to try next weekend!
