So, I've killed many sims with the sauna, and it always happens on the third steam. The trick is to lock the door like you did, then start the third steam, then leave so the victim can die. The other cool part about the sauna death is that grim doesn't show up if the door is locked, making it quite efficient. I'm using it as a way to clear out "used" spouse sims for hitting the legendary legacy achievement in my game, to avoid the game culling family members, and I've so far killed 50+ sims with the sauna. Reliably 3rd steam every time for me, no exceptions. (If I forget to lock the door, grim does show up, though.) As to Eric, I think the problem might actually lie in the gluttony trait itself. I believe it prevents sickness from spoiled food, which could also translate to pufferfish nigiri death. He might actually be immune to that method. I don't know for sure, though. I have also read that the lot trait "cursed" raises the chances for all those accidental deaths to happen. I haven't done any testing with it, though. I would strongly advise a test run with a copied book and a sim you can kill off without hurting your challenge. You could even save , test, and then restart off screen without recording, so it won't hurt the integrity of your series. If the book copy thing isn't true, well...I know a preteen who presents her hunches as facts. She's not lying when she says them, since she thinks they're probably true. This could be a case like that. Or it could be a troll. Or it could be the truth. Won't know until it's tested.

Hey Mollie, If you go deeper with Eliza and find out the whole copying situation does not work as she is deceased. Your other materialistic that you can go to is Vampire, Caleb Vatore. And as your at his place, why not observe his sister, Lilith maybe she'll have a trait you may need? Up to you of course :) Hope this is helpful.

Your idea for Eliza can still work! Ask the Private club people to join you, change the club-thing to go to the sauna and that way you'll have a bunch of people using the sauna instead of just Paige. That way Paige doesn't necessarily even have to be in the same room! Perfect alibi!

I think it could work if you create a "sauna" club, make the sims in your club use the sauna and lock the door for everyone but sauna club members with eliza in it, so the club members can get in and out but Eliza can't and this way probably someone will always be in there and use it. :)

I read up on what the book of life does, it says nothing about being unable to summon a ghost if it's a copy. You should be fine with your copies

If you save the game at this point since Eliza is already in such bad mood and has been in the sauna a few times, just try again but cancel the action for Paige and take her out of the room. It should work.

You can kill off Eliza with embarrassment since she is materiallistic or just find another sim in the city. I bet yoiu will find at least three sims at any spot you go to.

Also idk if this is cheating but if you change one of Paige's traits to vegetarian you can make as much pufferfish as you want and she won't eat it.

soooooo, since killing off Eric with pufferfish didn't work, can you kill of Penny Pizazz with pufferfish pleeeease?? It might work cause she's not a glutton. She was the one who was mean to my sim Carly. I made Carly try to kill off Penny with pufferfish but Carly accidentally ate it and DIED 😭 She's okay now cause I quit the game 😅 But still we must avenge Carly's death and kill off Penny with Pufferfish once and for all!!!!
