Tbh i like the fact that the "God of Love" is not sexualize or not just "a hot woman" its more the Love of a mother to her child, the love for your siblings or friends that just so importent for you that they became your family. Because sexual affection is often more "Nature" (what is nothing bad) then real love imo

I didn't expect to cry and bawl my eyes out from learning more of the context of the song while eating over my mum's pasta. As one who loves their dear Keeper Miqo'te, I've remembered the Concerts at Fanfest in person with this song and I also cried with how charmingly beautiful it was. AWE YEAAA I’ve been waiting for this video since I saw the video about In the Balance!! Menphina is my character’s guardian in-game and Dedicated to Moonlight is one of my favorite songs from this expansion!! I really love FFXIV take on a Goddess of Love also embracing the familial aspect of love(or Storge) rather than the going all in with the usual Romantic/Passionate Love! It’s a really refreshing take on Love Deities that I just love to see!!💕🌙

This is a good analysis. My personal interpretation has been that the song is a sort of cultural-religious hymn used when celebrating a young woman's coming of age ceremony in Keeper society.

I’ve been trying to do more world building on my miqo’s backstory who is a seeker but his parents are a solo couple and not a tribe,,, his mom could totally be a keeper!!! There’s some other name fuckery happening that’s too much to get into but it would make sense that my guy has a naming convention that’s a mix of the two cultures

While I’d always love more lore and narrative around the 12 I feel like that’s a misrepresentation of what the story was. The story was a handing off of the baton and fitting epilogue to Endwalker and 1.0-6.0 as a whole.
