I actually started this with a new Avatar, a Khajiit, and recently played that Morthal Nest quest. When the Jarl sent the villagers with me, they just stayed outside the cave brandishing all sorts of useless-against-vampires equipment and yelling randomly. 😂 They were still yelling and waving their tools when I reappeared from inside the cave some in-game hours later. I left them there. I didnt want them to follow me and they didnt. Ooh it reminds me of the side quest to retrieve the Mask of Vokun and that woman is wanting us to retrieve her scroll. I eventually started attacking her because she got so irritated when I was sneaking and she wouldnt sneak, she would look at me, and run into me and then has the audacity to "Ugh" at me all the time. When it was time to "retrieve her scroll" I just left her in the chamber, and set the quest as done. Collected my word from the wall and picked up the mask. I then left. She can pick up the scroll if she wants it. Dont know why I must run, pick it up off the table and hand it to her. She is fully capable of doing herself.

Nate, I don't know if you have covered this random encounter already or not, but after completing the College of Winterhold quests, you can encounter a dropout of the college who will approach you and ask if you could put up a ward so he could test some spells and hopefully return to the College. The fourth Encounter you mentioned is pretty similar to one I had somewhere in the area of Helgen. Three Priests of Stendarr surrounding three corpses. One of them called out to me, calling me "friend" but as soon as I approached them, they reveal themselfes as a pack of vamps which had killed these priests and now using their robes to lure unsuspecting travellers into their demise

One of my favorite random encounters is, when wondering about, you can find what appears to be 3 vigilants of Stendar wandering around, but when you get close, they reveal that they are actually vampires and will try to kill you, when they are dead, you can find 3 looted bodys of vigilants of Stendar laying on the ground. This was one of the first random encounters I ever came across and it scared the heck out of me.

Ooh I had one where a legendary dragon was attacking, and as I am shooting at it with my arrow, a guard stupidly runs in front of me and gets an arrow in the knee. The entire mob turns on me and tells me my bounty sets me as kill on site and they ignore the dragon thats busily attacking me and them. So I must now negotiate with the town guard to not get sent to prison while I will get killed anyways.

!!!!IN 6 YEARS OF PLAYING IVE ONLY SEEN THIS ONCE!!! I've seen so many of your videos but today I had an encounter that I've never experienced, where an npc named "student" approached me recognizing me as the arch mage and asked me to teach him about ward spells, then after demonstrating a ward spell he will get excited and walk off saying he is "going to give the college entrance another try". Like I said I've seen so many of your videos and played skyrim for so so long but have never come across this one in your videos or just gameplay so naturally I thought to recommend it in the comments as you so often ask us to. I never got the 'Maven sends her regards' thing as there are about 6 Louis s (how the hell to you plural Louis?) Stood outside the Whiterun stables. Does anyone else get it where NPC's duplicate? Edit: got that encounter today and Louis' clones are still outside the stables very much alive and unkillable...

fun fact: the necklace from the bandits is also randomized in what it enhences. i encountered this event on my way to whiterun and instead of the necklace of stamina shown mine was a necklace of minor knight

When I was lvl 3 I found vampires while exploring.. is that common? And when I turned into a werewolf in the companions mission, I found an elder dragon (or it found me) and it teleported me back into my active quest..

One odd encounter I had was with a vampire fledgling somewhere south of Windhelm. She wasn't hostile, just ran past me along the road towards some unknown destination. I tried following to see where she went, but was interrupted when a wolf attacked and caused her to go aggro. Strangely, even then she was not attacking me at all, instead running away and going invisible, even though the UI designated her as an enemy. Still have no idea what it was about.

The pair of Vampires that try to ambush you can also be encountered in other places of Skyrim too as I have come across these exact two outside of Anise's Cabin near Riverwood as well. (PS3 with all 3 DLC's)

This video is not on modding topic, but when you do next video on mods can you mention "Apotheosis" ppl almost forgot about this mod bc devs have been super silent on the topic. That being said after almost 2 years they released some pretty big updated including a sneak peek at mods environment in a form of a trailer called Afterlife. This is one of the biggest mods for Skyrim of all time, A DLC sized mod taking a player to realms of Oblivion. It's been in development for 5 years now and it looks like it's finally coming out early 2020.

@TheEpicNate315 Love your videos! I have a suggestion for a new series, or perhaps something you could add to tiny details, '5 (or 10) things missing from the Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim'. Examples include the Grahl from Solstheim, the original Volkihar vampires (Though you have covered that before), the Snowray from Shadowkey, different creatures from 'Travels: Dawnstar', the islands of Roscrea and Olenveld, stuff from questionable sources like the Snow Whales and even stuff from ESO even though it was made after Skyrim (Such as Bleakrock Isle).

That would be more of a tiny detail. Random encounters are events that happen randomly on the road or in the wilderness.

Thalmor patrol is kinda frequent, one time they went to reach and got ambushed by 4 forsworns, I watched...the Thalmor lost interestingly, no briar heart involved

Yeah. I encountered that shit too. Then 1 thalmor accidentally stepped into a forsworn trap(falling rocks) then he died. I was like "you guys are tough when I fight with you but now just... falling rocks? Really?!!"
