I finally decided to look up at what frequency trees/plants produce sound after seeing Dr. Sherman obsessing over making the tree scream many times. The sound frequencies are either too low or too high for humans to hear a plant/tree, but can be heard by other mammals or insects. To make things even more complicated, the state of the plant/tree affects how "loud" they scream, with hydrated and uncut plants being quieter and thirsty plants emitting ultrasonic sounds (~20-100 killhertz). And apparently, stressed plants' "screams" sounds like popping bubble wrap. Get some sort of specialized microphone that can show you the frequency waves and you should be able to see a tree scream
