Mario Kart 8 Rainbow Road Mashup/Mix - Across Generations [8 Themes In One]

It is NOT easy putting their melodies together. This took me a while, but I was actually really motivated to make this! It only took me three days of hard work and it didn't drag out one bit, so I do have this repeating in my mind after replaying it for hundreds of times x.x it's starting to kill me now xD
What I did here is that I used all Rainbow Road themes from Mario Kart history (excluding Japanese Arcade ones if they have it) and mashed them up together. The more familiar you are with them, the more you'll enjoy this mashup. That's not saying that you won't enjoy it on its own though!
I'll add basic annotations, though it's not just simply 'this theme is playing, and now it's this theme'. I've changed keys and unified it to make it transition better by using mainly Mario Kart 8 Rainbow Road's bassline and percussion as well as some midi files. Hope you enjoy and share and sub as always!
My only regret is that SNES Rainbow Road doesn't fit with the rest, and it can only appear at the beginning :c Watch annotations for basic info!

I'm not so familiar with all of the different Mario Kart rainbow road tracks off the top of my head, but the fact that I can't necessarily distinguish at what point which theme is what, obviously means you did a good job indeed at mashing up all these different themes together quite effectively and skillfully. The only one that kind of stands out as different from the rest is the SNES rainbow road snippet at the beginning, but I don't think that's your fault at all--it just seems like SNES's rainbow road theme is quite unlike the other themes, haha. Well it's no matter really--I quite like the intro to this remix, it sounds exciting. Anyway, nice percussion, it's more acoustic-orientated than usual for you and I really like how it turned out. Your mixing continues to improve, as well. Keep it up! :D

The next Mario Kart should have a mash up with 8 sections, each section being a different Rainbow Road. The layout of the tracks will have to be changed slightly to fit together, but you should be able to basically complete a whole lap of each Rainbow Road, and each section should have it's own music with transitions triggered by checkpoints. It would be the longest Mario Kart track ever, and it would be fricking awe5.

For those with requests: I've heard! Currently I'm working for a fanmade Pokemon game named Pokemon Azurite (check my recent submissions for more), so I won't have time to arrange much. Bowser's castle is also way too different to be able to connect so well, so it can't top this one, I bet. HOWEVER. HOWEVER. Next Mario Kart should really have a new cup called the Rainbow Cup, which is a mega Grand Prix cup with all the rainbow roads from all the MarioKart games (updated of course to match the new gameplay)
