Change the battery on your multimeter! The voltage wasn't too high! The battery icon it has does not mean that the battery is installed! :) That icon indicates that the battery is low and measurements are unreliable. I know from experience that that particular meter starts to show higher AC voltages with low battery (i have the same crappy meter)

For 20+ years I cut and split and stacked firewood. And it had to be done in the summer when there was sufficient dry wood. It meant that I never had any time to myself. This year I built a small, well insulated shack, drastically upgraded my Solar power system, and installed a inverter type Air Conditioner. It works perfectly, no noise, no fuss. I used to love wood, now I love electricity!

About the 3-man operation at 53:55 - 54:50; my family does it almost exactly how you describe it; the difference is that the third person loads the cut wood into a wheelbarrow and brings it into a woodshed where it gets stacked to dry. (Grandpa, my dad and me; dad cuts, i hand him the logs, and grandpa loads the wheelbarrow) I'm from Slovakia, btw. You could improve the saw by using a 3-phase 3-5kW 2860min^-1 motor, and under drive it to ~2100min^-1 at the saw blade for more torque, and stiffening the frame would be benefitial as well. I suggest this, because the saw we have at home has a 3kW 3-phase 1440min^-1 motor, the only difference is that the motor on our saw is overdriven by 1,4; so ~2000min^-1 at the saw blade. Bigger pulley at the motor and smaller on the driven shaft of course. The disadvantage of this is a bit less torque at the saw blade, but it worked fine for more than 40 years; to this day, so no reason to mess with it. Also, use 2-4 belts at once, to reduce the wear to a minimum.

At the very beginning I thought, "If he doesn't survive the wiring project, I hope "Super Mom" posts the video so we can see how he meets his end." Then when you pulled out the homemade saw I just knew "Super Mom" would be posting the video of how you meet your bloody end. But, as luck would have it, you survived both and everything after that was bonus material!! Turned out to be a very entertaining movie! I would put it right up there with some of John Wayne's best westerns. I give it 4 out of 5 stars and an "F" rating, for firewood. BRAVO, well done my friend!!🙂😉
