The "weird" beach with parking would not have been empty on a sunny summer evening. You might have hade to struggle to find parking since it looks to be a very nice public "swiming location", kept by municipalitys.

I totally get that fear of going outside after dark out in the middle of nowhere. We used to have a cabin in the woods that had an outhouse and sometimes it was spooky going out there - well, to be honest the outhouse was always spooky, haha! At times the forest feels as though it's watching you even during the day - it's a weird thing to say, but it's real. We had bears too and they do go about at night and, well, you never know what you'll bump into out there :) The most scared I ever got was during the day on a lone hike in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, US. I actually had a sudden feeling of dread, of being in peril, tears came to my eyes, my hair stood on end and yet I couldn't see/hear/smell anything out of order, but I got the feeling of being preyed upon and I left the area immediately. I have no idea what it was, but I trusted my instinct. I also have a terrier who freaks out over buzzy or loud noises. He hates them, I think it hurts his ears, and I haven't found a way to keep him calm around things like leaf blowers, lawnmowers, snowblowers, fireworks, garbage trucks, and even flies - yes, flies. Poor thing, he just gets so anxious around them and then he barks at them as if to tell them to be quiet or tries to go after them. He does bark and attacks flies, and then he catches them and eats them, so gross :) I think he'd be just like Dizee with a drone :) Great video, as always! Love the cathedral, amazing. Have you ever seen the Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland - that place is pretty cool..... Thanks so much!
@theexPAWers5 жыл бұрын
shuvanidev Hey, thanks for the message, we enjoyed 😉. Yeah Dizzee is kinda like this with most things that move, lol... He’s ok with a vacuum, leaf blower etc, but anything quick moving he wants to chase, be it a dog 10x his size, or a fly! He barks and chases it!🤣 Glad you enjoyed the video☺️☺️ x

Same thing happened to us once. Hiking in north Georgia and suddenly got that "feeling". Didn't see, hear, or smell anything but just KNEW something was around. We turned tail and left the area quickly.

That's Sweden for You. It's only busy 4-5 month a year. May to august for summer activities and December to mars/April for winter activities. Otherwise, I am just amazed over how amazing Scandinavian nature is...and with the "free roaming rights", so accessible. And as long as You don't park in peoples gardens and not to close to houses and take your responsibility for nature, You can park and stay for a few days to a week or two, almost wherever You want. No questions asked. That's nothing short of amazing when You are out camping/traveling. Good luck on the rest of the tour :)

I had a Saunalahti card which I used in Norway and Sweden, but the month was over before I reached Denmark. It could have been topped up again, of course, but I didn't bother because I relied on WiFi in Denmark plus the data volume I have from my home SIM card.

I live in Sweden. Bears here don't usually attack humans unless they feel threatened. They might attack the doggies though, so it was wise to be cautious.

Loved the video - as always. Have you ever though about making a vegan meatloaf. It's something I want to try when I get a Ridge Monkey. Love meatloaf.

Another great video I was wondering how many miles has the transit done is it the original engine
@theexPAWers5 жыл бұрын
chris martin Hey Chris, this old transit had had an engine change, we think 🤔Lol, so we really don’t know. And the clock only goes up to 100k and resets! Lol... 😆

If you are worried about bears when you need to go out at night, just let the barking dog out first. If there is a bear there you will know soon enough and it maybe will sort out the constant barking once and for all 😜 Seriously though, there are retractable electric fences available that work off a battery that you could deploy around your camp that will keep any varmints away. Gallagher smart fence is one I have seen for sale on the net. There may be others.

Sean Cassidy Thanks, Yeah, it’s just abit of paranoia! Most wild animals are too scared to come near🤞... Sometimes it’s so dark outside the van and your mind does start to play tricks! Generally not, but you never know!!😳😳
