Scientific discoveries of prehistoric are the most important scientific discoveries of all time in my opinion, not even our own history can compare to the history of evolution and life on our planet

@MARKET_GARDNERI I think "Allosaurus anax" should be the authors of the paper

It's funny that you said that because I grew up with diatryma being a valid genus. I had no idea about the controversy. It happens when you live under a rock. Glad it's 'back' though, because I was getting frustrated wondering what the difference between diatryma and gatrornis was.

I was about to say the same thing :) I live in East Sussex myself. The funniest mispronunciation I ever heard was Dagenham. Some American KZbinr pronounced it "Dargenharm" making it sound like some picturesque medieval village in Germany :D

The UK Weald always used to be pronounceed like 'wheeled', when I learned about it at school, Destin. Otherwise, great to see your attention to detail, as always. Happy New Year. (y)

So Saurophaganax is invalid now, Longrich is being called out, and Diatryma’s back.

You forgot about Saurophaganax is no longer a real dinosaur but two seperate species of saurischians this month.

Another paleo-rewind left incomplete... by my following, BKBones, DuplexDoesArt, and even Harrison Duran (who you mentioned in this video), has failed to upload... Nor have YOU actually been adding the videos to a single playlist like you promise. It's so frustrating that EVERY year, PaleoRewind is left incomplete... Please find a different way to do them moving forward.... PLEASE. These are such a good idea to just leave us hanging with an incomplete product every time. :(

I always ask most people months ahead of time. But, perhaps unlike the audience, these creators are incredibly busy in and outside of work.
@CyrynDragoon26 күн бұрын
@@EDGEscience Then perhaps they shouldn't have committed to something they can't follow through on. Additionally, as the organizer, YOU have the option to pick up the slack and make the missing videos, but you don't. You also have the option of asking more regular and reliable creators instead of creator's who's last video was 3 years ago and not related to paleo at all. You've had YEARS to smooth out this process, but you haven't. Perhaps asking them months in advance is asking them too far out for them to remember. The point is, every year YOU are the one who promises your viewers that these videos will come out, not the people you ask. You are the one who promises to update the playlist on your channel, but don't... you are the one who promises a master video of everyone's individual video and I think that's been done once, maybe twice. And you are the one currently failing to take ownership of the continuous failures of this project... Failures that YOU have the power to rectify, but choose not to do so. It's so bad, that every year my entire family asks me: "so.... did PaleoRewind manage to get it all done this year finally?" and I sadly tell them that yet again, I (and probably others) are left disappointed and hanging. THEY DON'T EVEN WATCH IT THEMSELVES! They just know how much I look forward to it, how hopeful I always am that THIS will be the year it goes off without a hitch... but it's not. I don't like dragging people like this, but your reply to my expression of justifiable disappointment really rubbed me the wrong way. Your self-righteousness that YOU, unlike your viewers, are just tooo busy to fulfill the promises YOU have made is really disappointing. I've watched this channel grow for years, I've watched you own up to, and change things when you've made mistakes, I've watched you learn why citing sources is so important. It's time you put on your big-boy pants once again, and own the project you promise your viewers and the failings it has. I sincerely hope that you do, but I understand that there's a very high likelihood this will simply be disregarded. Either way, I hope you at the very least, sincerely consider not making promises you can't keep in the future.
