There is a video of this same performance with English subtitles. You should find it because the lyrics/story is absolutely heartbreaking. Also as another poster has already mentioned Lara Fabian has been an idol of democracy since he was a young child. If you really pay attention I'm sure you can hear her influence on his performances in the way that they both completely embody the song and express the emotions of the song through their performances. Not to mention Igor Krutoy wrote Love is like a dream which Lara performed 27 or 28 years ago. Lara also wrote Adagio and made that quite famous.

Maybe what you prefere in Lara is the intonation, all the different colour and atmosphere and the warmer voice than Celine that is very noisy and perhaps more focused by the technique. Celine Dion when you hear her you think: What a voice, what a technique, such power ! Palavras usadas no japonês: biidoro (vidro), furasuko (frasco), botan (botão), marumero (marmelo), pan (pão), pandoro (pão de ouro ou pão de ló) castella (pão de ló renomado devido às claras batidas em castelo), boro (bolo), iruman (irmão), kapitan (capitão) sabato (sábado) etc.... No português temos muitas palavras francófonas, inglesas, espanholas, italianas, árabes (sobretudo o nome das localidades começadas por "AL" e até russas (tundra, mamute, matriosca)!! Até à uns 25 anos atrás o ensino oficial escolar secundário obrigava a frequentar as disciplinas de francês no 5º e 6º anos escolar e inglês em simultâneo a partir do 7º ano até à Universidade. A partir dos anos 80' passou a ser obrigatório no ensino secundário a frequência de uma das duas línguas, tendo como opção frequentar também o alemão. Hoje em dia só é obrigatório frequentar uma delas, sendo já comum nos infantários com idades abaixo dos 6 anos de idade, o ensino de inglês e mandarim seguindo para o primário (1º, 2º, 3 e 4º ano). Hoje, as gerações com mais de 40 anos de idade, todas frequentaram no ensino secundário , (do 5º ao 12º ano, obrigatoriamente francês e inglês. França, considerada o berço da civilização, tinha o privilégio de a sua língua ser a mais internacional e oficialmente reconhecida culturalmente en todas as árias desde o ensino, arte, literatura, tecnologia, culinária, arquitetura, etc. Depois devido ao desenvolvimento tecnológico, passou a ser o inglês. Hoje em dia devido ao desenvolvimento mercantil o mandarim está a tomar o seu lugar... Curiosidade: os únicos povos do mundo que conseguem pensar, escrever e falar fluentemente mais 3 línguas para além da sua são os portugueses, os gregos e os russos (todos os da ex- USSR). Podendo até falar mais 5 a 7 línguas. A única palavra portuguesa que não tem tradução em língua nenhuma do mundo é a palavra "saudade".

You'd even be so much more impressed by the interpretation of this"bad love" story Lara sings. "Je suis malade" means "I am sick". Nevertheless I love your reaction even maybe without really understanding the lyrics, meaning that you received straight to your heart the emotion supplied by Lara ! I think you should watch that so emotional other live song "je t'aime" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4CWk2CDrt6HkMk), with french and english lyrics. You'll love it too ! Dom
