The reason as to why Filipino/Tagalog rhymes and flows with English so easily is because the language itself is structured very similarly to English. It's a lot to explain but that's pretty much the gist of it, oh and also the Philippines got colonized by America for quite a while too and that kind of contributed to the evolution of how people speak tagalog or how it was taught.

"Bara" is the tagalog word for "bar" in the musical sense.. It is also a little nod to him being able to speak Japanese which you can hear in his song "Omoshiroi" with his step brother Anji.. In Japanese, they don't have an "L" sound, it's always an "R".. If you change the "R" to "L" in the word "Bara", it'll be "Bala", which is the tagalog word for "Bullet".. 😏 Sorry, for the late comment..
