I think Brianna's hair rocks too, but I'll throw in an actual fabric comment. About 3 years ago, I made my grandson a "dinosaur" quilt, using a line you had, and backed with some glow-in-the- dark flannel ( from that chain fabric store we love to hate). Not only did the kiddo love it, but his engineering nerd dad was even more excited! Has been washed a gazillion times, and it STILL glows!!

Ladies, Watering the orchard during low temperatures, causes ice on the trees & ice holds the heat inside the fruit. We had an apple & cherry orchard, in the basin, for 22 years. We now live in Spokane, near our children. Miss you!!

I live in North Florida. We had mostly sleet and a few flurries. Thankfully our fruit trees are under oak tree canopy so were spared. The cold does make the fruit sweeter. Today was a beautiful day in the high 60s with lots of sunshine! ☀️

I went to a couple of quilt stores here in Arizona and I felt such homesickness for the Nirvana of the Fabric Patch!!! They certainly did not have 10,000 bolts!! Wayne is learning how to care for cactus so we’re both keeping busy.

All of the 5 inches of snow is gone here in NC. My American Staffordshire’s paws are full of mud everytime he comes in the house. I have to wipe his paws each time. Exhausting!!

Speaking of wrecking irons, I actually put best press in my iron instead of water, I didn’t notice it until I turned the iron on the next day. Is the iron ruined forever. It was a great iron, not so much anymore, lol

lol! Cyndi are you sniffing glue? Ok iron cleaner, but still!!! LOL! Iron sheets don’t work for me at ALL! I use the Faultless hot iron cleaner. I just put a line of the paste on a towel and lay it on the ironing board and wipe the iron across it and it cleans way way better than the sheets. I didn’t think it smelled awful but there is definitely a smell. Regarding Best Press scent, I had the Caribbean best press before and couldn’t find the refill so got Linen Fresh and it is REALLY strong and overwhelming. There is a really big difference.

About 20 years ago I cleaned my iron with that goopy paste stuff. The directions say to scrub it on the iron bottom while still hot. Fumes were billowing all over, ( I didn’t realize that I should have been doing it outside). My fire alarm went off, and the next thing I knew there was a fire truck in my driveway and firemen at my door! I assured them that I was just cleaning my iron, but they insisted on coming inside for a look to make sure my house wasn’t burning down! I was soooo embarrassed! Hopefully your new iron cleaning stick won’t give off billowing fumes of chemicals……or if it does, clean your iron outside on your deck!

Yes! I remember that old stuff and that’s exactly how it worked! Perhaps some of us single friends might like that tip… Lol
