Born & raised in GA (well, I briefly lived in Florida & New Orleans as a small child...each one, less than a year), I'm pretty keen on it as well. Lol! You make me think of my mom, many years ago. She was SO creative & enthusiastic about life & making it joyful for us! We too, were homeschooled for several years. Those are memories that I will forever treasure! No doubt yours will as well. No. I lived near Tallahassee...not far from the Florida, Georgia line. Surprisingly, I've never actually been to Disney World. We just prefer the beach, I suppose (Panama City or Destin).

Im loving your videos Jennifer. Your kids are adorable. I'm Dawn and I'm 56, I have 5 grandkids and a great on the way. I love doing these kind of lunches for the grandkids when they come and stay with me. When I was growing up, my grandmother would put together lunches with whatever she had in the pantry/frig, one of my favorites was a tuna sandwich (drained tuna, mayo, celery seed, and lawrys season salt) and to stretch the food she would give us extras to choose from to put on our sandwich (cheddar cheese, potato chips, thinly sliced tomato with a bread and butter pickle); we loved those sandwiches and it was a great way to stretch the food dollar. I have a couple of easy recipes for fruit dip that I think your kids will love, they are both made with sour cream as the foundation, but Greek yogurt would be a great substitute, then with one you just add a half a cup if brown sugar and mix, the other you add honey and lemon juice and mix. Let stand overnight. All are to taste. Adjust to your liking and serve with fresh fruit.

Hey Jennifer:) I just recently discovered your channel and I already LOVE it. Its fun to watch different kinds of lunches also because when I was little I always got leftover from dinner to lunch or just a piece of bread with some vegetables which is compared to yours really boring and not very delicious. Most because "lunch" is not really a thing here in Europe or Denmark especially, we do eat lunch every day, not really in the weekends, haha but on school days we do. When . was little we all in kindergarten and up to like 4th grade had not lunch boxes but literally boxes in our school bags, and now it's just some food wrapped up and then in a plastic bag. All the fun of going to school or eating lunch has slightly gone away and my mom doesn't make my lunch anymore, well if she will then sometimes she does;) but your kids are so lucky to have you or just be in that world that they are in right now because when they get in the teen ages they will not care anymore, they wont think of what you did for them, they won't appreciate even though you deep down know that they do and always will - Love your kids all day and every day because, by the time of a snap, they're gone. Keep the memories close to your heart every day they smack the door or do bad things and keep those memories if something ever happens to them or if they decide, its time to move on. We Live on Love. Love to you guys

This reminds me when I was 10 (5 years ago) my mom would always just put a sandwich with salami or something, but when my sister would do it she would always make it special. She'd add a sandwich with veggies on top making it look like a unicorn, and each day of the week some different treat, for example a few oreos, chips ahoy etc. Good ol' times.

I have a lunch idea for your kids, special from France ! : Meal : Either à crêpe with PB and J (or bananas) or a « quiche Lorraine » (it is soo yummy). Side : Some salad with vinaigrette instead of ranch. Special treat : A tiny « chocolate eclair » or a « madeleine » (it is sooo good, it’s like a muffin but different). Veggies : some baby carrots mixed with cucumbers. Fruit : strawberries Little treat + : some crisps or popcorn Drink : some water. Have a nice day !
