I was down 9.24 at the 2 min warning. I'd given up. Then the pick 6 made cut it down to 1.24. Lutz extra point made it 2.24. Hopefully, but highly doubtful. Sack-1.24. 40 seconds, Cleveland at the 1. EZ punch in for Chubb. Hope gone. THEN THE ONLY POSSIBILITY OF A WIN WAS DELOVERED TO ME. By far the biggest Rollercoaster of 15 minutes I'd ever experienced.

I had Denver D vs Bo Nix in my work league. After all the INTs and craziness… I was gonna lose by .08. UNTILLLLLLL!!!!!! Bo Nix took a knee to win the game, my opponent loses .1 and I end up winning by .02! Unreal!

For our keeper league, we do a loser bowl with everyone who doesn't make the playoffs. So a seperate tournament bracket.The draft order goes by how people finish in said loser bowl. Winner of losers gets first pick. Then the playoff teams pick goes like normal, the champ gets final pick in first round. Think it's the best way possible to do it.

Javonte is by far their best pass blocking running back, so I think maybe they want to start the game a bit safer. There was a time earlier in the year, he hadn't allowed a sack via blocking. Now that Bo is more comfortable it makes sense they're moving away from him.

My favorite dynasty draft order structure is having all the non playoffs teams play out their own playoff bracket to decide the draft order in the next year. I.e. a 12 man league with 6 team playoffs would have picks 1-6 follow the resulting placement in the consolation bracket and picks 7-12 would the the reverse order from the championship bracket. It might not end up helping the worst team the most, but it seems to fully disincentives tanking and can be a point of optimism for good teams that probably deserved to make the playoffs

for the last mailbag question on dynasty draft order. A nice way of handling this is to let the top X number of players play for the championship, then the toilet bow players have a mini tournament where they play for the number 1 overall pick, second place gets 2nd overall pick, etc.. This keeps every game interesting and even when you have a rough season you can still complete for the best pick in the draft.

Max-PF is the fairest way I’ve come across, the worst teams get the best picks. No sense in having the 7-8 teams battling it out for the #1 overall pick and then the worst teams just get worse. That’s how orphans happen, often.

@@justjulianmusic in dynasty there are haves and have-nots. Tanking is a part of the game, teams at the top get vets for production and teams at the bottom get picks to try and make it better. If teams at the bottom have to be able to win to get a better pick and they don’t have players, or picks, it goes south very fast. Then the team gets orphaned and it’s even harder to find someone to take it over. I hate tanking and you still need to have valid lineups and not give out free-wins to competing teams but max-PF is the fairest way I’ve seen for the truly bad teams to get better.

I am all for a more competitive league and keeping folks engaged all season but in my 14 dynasty leagues there are some dudes who are active all season and dudes who aren’t. And a much less active manager, with a bad team and middle of the round picks, seems to become an orphan faster than anything other team.

In our 12 team dynasty league we have 8 teams make the playoffs, the bottom 4 teams that don’t have a draft lottery to decide the order of 1.01-1.04. That’s how we curbed tanking for the 1.01.

Listen up Dynasty players (guy who asked the question about draft pick order): It's really simple. The Draft Pick order is based on the reversed order of W & PF. Period. Do not include Playoff results. Regular Season Standings ONLY. Except for the 1st pick. You hold a Consolation Playoff Round with the 4 worst teams - the team that wins the Consolation Round wins the 1st pick. That way teams can tank (with legitimate starting lineups) but are not guaranteed the 1st pick - they have to earn it. I do this in all my Dynasty Leagues & it's well-regarded & accepted as the fairest system. (don't bother responding I don't have comments turned on - if you disagree with any of this, you're wrong & a noob, stick w redraft - LOL)
