This is my cookie baking day & basically it takes all day.I only make Hersey’s toll,house cookies & make everyone in my family a container of cookies, Lindt chocolates & salty nuts & & a pretzel or three covered in chocolate. I love these 7 layer bars. When I make them I put the sweetened condenced milk and then the coconut. (Reminds me of a almond joy). Then I put 1 cup of chocolate chips, 1 cup of peanut butter chips and lastly the nuts. That way the nuts are slightly toasted and have a great flavor. Shoot now I want to make some. HaHa P.S. I think your husband would enjoy the peanut butter chips as much as I do.

Brickle. I call almond Roca….i use 1 stick of butter and one stick of margarine. I also use white sugar instead of brown sugar. Now I will try some your way..❤

I’ve made the layered bars for years but I pour the condensed milk on top when I have finished with the layering. That makes it soak down through all layers. Just a thought……

Leslie, you need to make the Martha Washington candy but do not chop up the cherries. Take the whole cherry and put it on the inside and then freeze them and dip them in chocolate. That is so good. I've got a batch I just put in the freezer for christmas.

✍Hello Leslie and Bryant...Thank You for the update on the mama cow 🐄 and her baby calf and that they are ok. I hope to start doing some Christmas baking Saturday. Since its just my oldest daughter and me I won't be baking too many treats. I don't care for graham crackers but when you make a graham cracker crust and bake it, it has the taste of "butter brickle" So I think I'd use the graham crackers if I ever make your Brickle that's what I'd use. Leslie I agree with you about what others call this recipe C _ _ _ k and I didn't like the name either the first time I heard it. Brickle suits this recipe just fine. It's funny you'd say how you like hearing what others call things from other places cause I told my daughter about how people from the South call the burners on your stove an "eye" The first time I heard it was from Tammy from CVC collard valley cooks who's from Georgia. When I worked for a grocery buyer who came from our chain of stores out of Wisconsin he asked where the "bubbler" was? That's what they call a drinking fountain. Well, Good Night😴 God Bless LuvYa! It’s actually nice that we don’t have to watch her wash a dish or clean up the counter. We just get to see each step of the recipe without wasting time on things that take up too much time. These videos are very well done and look professional including the music. 💕

Bryan is gonna get her a 24/7 webcam put up in her kitchen. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I watch the animal ones. There’s one, somewhere out west , and you can pay $ (like putting a coin in) to feed the cows. There’s an automatic dispenser for feed when you give $. That’s what Bryan needs to do and they can donate the $ to their church building fund. Leslie wouldn’t mind a bit , im sure. 🍿📺😉
