Hi guys. Finding your take on things really interesting at the moment. Even the religious stuff ☺️ I’m from a religious background but no longer religious. I’ve been very cynical/wary about religion for a long time but I enjoy listening to you guys talk about how your faith and the practices involved informs your way of life. For a long time there seems to have been a rejection, even demonising of conservative/traditional living in modern society but to hear you talk so warmly about what some might call a more traditional lifestyle is inspiring…it could almost be mistaken for a new concept 😂 I think sharing relaxed conversations like this can only help balance things out. Also, as a “recovering vegan” who in recent months has returned to meat eating, witnessing your in-depth knowledge and attitude towards rearing and processing meat has been fascinating 👍 Thanks. Best wishes from the U.K.

I am intrigued by your point on big houses though not for minimalist reasons (I am fed up with minimalism discourse). Though I agree with the need for dedicated spaces for different activities and room to spread out. My thought is that most people throughout history lived in very small homes, even big families. I am not talking about apartments, peasants lived in tiny houses in villages. This wasn't a terrible hindrance as it was easier to heat small homes and people spent the vast majority of their time outside. Smaller homes are cheaper to buy and cheaper to maintain.
