Thank you! We used ostrich feathers, Eiffel tower vases, styrofoam bouquet holders, and a small piece of marabou to hide the holder. See the links in the description for what kits we used!

Sounds beautiful! If you are wanting to sew on ostrich tassels, we recommend purchasing damaged ostrich, as you would strip the flue from the quill and sew it in sections throughout the train. What size is the OP12 vase? I love that size! How many feathers are used for each centerpiece?

We love that size as well but don't currently sell it. I believe it is 12 inches tall. We only have the largest vase shown in stock, which is 24 inches tall. Each centerpiece has 24 feathers. :) We sell them in the dozens, or with a complete centerpiece kit.

Storing feathers away from sunlight will help retain color and a few mothballs will help in keeping bugs away as well. Thanks for your question!

How many feathers are needed per centerpiece ..by feather ? My Eiffel vases are tall .. 28”… I would like to do red feathers for 6 tables

I would suggest since your vase is so tall, either getting the OP19’s which are 17 inches and up . Or the OP25’s the extra wide fémina 17-25”. As for how many feathers - really depends on how full you want your centerpieces. We recommend 25 feathers. But if you get the extra wide, you could do 20 feathers and would still look very full.

Thats a great question! We've seen all types of feathers used in carnival costumes, but the most common would be ostrich and pheasant. If you are talking about what size (in relation to this video), most likely you would find the OP19 ostrich feather used for costuming. You can definitely go bigger or smaller depending on what you need though!
