Great video, thanks! Vassar is definitely one of a kind. You’ve probably seen it, but Vassar playing Kissimmee Kid with Tony Rice, Jerry Douglas, John Hartford and Mark O’Connor is just incredible. I agree his notes are “different.” And he seems to have thin fingers if that makes a difference. Total command of the instrument that’s for sure.
