We are a line of scrimmage team and we are losing the line of scrimmage on both sides. We are also in the bottom 25% of all running metrics. We don’t even run the toss sweep that runs through the veins of all Dawgs. It feels off because we are losing in a way that we haven’t in such a long time. This feels the furthest from a Georgia team I can remember since Cox was the QB1

Have you noticed UGA giving away who the ball was going to out of the huddles? I’ve noticed it twice now on big drives. One at Florida and one at Mississippi state where either a player leaves the huddle really early or as they leave the huddle someone gets extra love. Both times the ball goes to that person

I appreciate your breakdown of offensive line play. As a former OC, you need to check your RB’s aiming point to help differentiate between standard zone and outside zone. Georgia is not typically a wide zone team, like a Missouri, but will run outside zone. That explains the difference in steps by the OL. Keep up the good work, just passing the info along. Appreciate you, Go Dawgs

I hope all you Georgia fans can appreciate what Saban did more now. It aint as easy as yall thought to maintain that level of success every year especially when you start losing players and coaches and everyone starts feeling entitled because youve had so much success.
@philmcrackinnow
@philmcrackinnow Ай бұрын
Saban spent most of his coaching career without having to deal with the NIL and transfer portal significantly affecting his team. It wasn’t until the later part of his career that these factors became an issue. In contrast, Kirby began coaching much later and won two national championships before the portal and NIL had a major impact on the game. Now, all teams are more equal because: 1. it's harder to maintain depth, 2. teams can’t practice with the same intensity due to reduced depth, and 3. talented backups on elite teams are becoming starters for teams that weren’t as strong. No one will be able to replicate Saban’s legacy now that the game has changed so drastically. I believe Kirby could have done it because he's already a great coach and consistently recruited on par with Alabama, but now you can't stockpile the top high school talent, and success in the transfer portal has become just as important.

It's still mostly on Beck on passing plays. Yes Greene got beat all day, but the one best chance was the throw to yuresek. He was facing the middle of the field, and the ball was throw towards the sideline. If Beck threw it towards the inside, it had a better chance. Still the problem is, most of these guys can't catch. Why wasn't that play ran for luckie? He is probably the most reliable.

Mike Bobo is what went wrong. Carson Beck having a lambo is what went wrong. As much as I support these kids getting their cheddar, it’s ruining college football. Who ever wins the transfer portal seemingly wins now. There will be far more parody and fewer dynasties in the coming years. As a Georgia fan I’m heartbroken, but this team isn’t hungry like the last 4 years and that showed. They play down to their opponents skill every single week and it was inevitable that it would cost them. Ole Miss wanted it more and showed that in the trenches over and over again. Both sides of Ole Miss’s line dominated. Of all the teams we lost too it had to be Kiffin. They were the better team in all three phases.

@ cuz it is simple genius that’s why I pointed out how the offense looked with Stetson. A coach can be set in his ways when it comes to recruiting. Hence I mentioned get with the times on a mobile quarterback because it enhances offense and extend plays when ol miss blocks. @@Drpco90 yes he’s set in his ways clearly, two years ago he wins with a mobile QB and next year he’s a game away from the playoffs, so your suggestion is to recruit a mobile freshman and play him, that’s dumb, on top of that I’d bet a lot of money you weren’t talking down on Beck going into the season, but now that he’s sucked for over a month you’re reiterating the same exact talking points you’ve heard everyone else say, none of this is you analyzing the team lol.

What went wrong is Mike Bobo play calling, o line not blocking, and receivers dropping passes. Offense looks TERRIBLE. Worst I have seen under Kirby. Mike Bobo is a major reason for Mark Richts downfall. Then gets fired at Colorado State, loses job at South Caroline, fired at Auburn after one season, and will hopefully be fired from Georgia after this season. Everywhere he goes he neuters the offense.

A lot of it has been bad execution from the o-line vs ole miss, and there were some reads that carson beck should’ve made better but went with something else. I feel like if plays were executed really well we could’ve made the game closer in my mind. I can’t solely blame the defense because they have a potent air attack, and they were gonna score points. Our offensive recruiting under Bobo was horrible during his first stint as our OC and it hasn’t improved this time….that’s his recruits and players out there throwing interceptions, dropping passes, running the wrong routes, fumbling the ball, being unprepared and unfocused. That’s Bobo’s assistant coaches who are unable to teach, develop & motivate the talent in their respective areas. The offense has gotten progressively worse in all areas during the season, a sure sign of piss poor coaching. And Kirby is too stubborn/blinded by loyalty/arrogant/ignorant/thin skinned/unable to adjust (take your pick) to see what’s painfully obvious. Or at least acknowledge it publicly. Sadly, Mike Bobo may have finally, after a career of trying, failed upward and found a team where his lack of talent, poor leadership, horrible talent evaluation and development , lazy/ineffective recruiting and no ability to be creative won’t get him fired or replaced 😩

Bobo has to scheme on offense based on injuries and performance. UGA wide receivers lead the country in dropped passes, our oline hasn’t had a single game where our guys are 100% healthy and our RB room is struggling to stay healthy too. It’s been up to cash jones and and true freshman the last 2 games. As on OC, how can you play anything BUT vanilla with all of these factors? UGA will win out and get a spot in the playoffs still due to quality wins and everyone SHOULD be healthy by then. With a healthy OLINE and Colbie young back from this bullshit case, UGA will look like a different team. Ole miss played their best game they’ve played all year just like Bama, that was their superbowl and UGA just didn’t get it done. It happens, we can’t just be 50+ game win streak without dropping a couple games here and there. UGA will be okay and if not, to the portal we go for some quality receivers
