The Polish are amazing people. Thank you so much for all you are doing. Many of us ethnic Poles in the US feel helpless watching this. We are so far away. We have been sending funds but, wish we could do more. You are true heros.

Please, help us if you can. Poland itself is not able to take care of every refugee from Ukraine. The Ukrainians are fighting and are very brave but do not let the Geman's government leave them alone and without help/military support.

@@Rene_Moor3095 The Germans are helping, their borders are open for the Ukrainians. They have agreed to the toughest sanctions on Russia even though the people of Germany will be carrying the burden of those sanctions too. Germany is doing a lot to help. To put it into perspective: in first two weeks of war more migrants crossed Ukrainian-Polish border than during whole European migrant crisis in 2015. And all of that without overcrowded camps.

We must fight this cruel Russian regime. Solidarity and support for these poor Ukrainians fleeing the war is now very important. I don't know what else Putin is capable of, but I feel like crying every day while watching what is happening. Let's unite europe. We help in Poland. We try. But in such a situation, no one knows what will happen tomorrow, in a week or a month. Brave heroes, our neighbors are now defending Ukraine. I am with you with all my heart, Ukrainian brothers. We will do everything to keep your people safe with us. I hope politicians will quickly understand that you are defending not only your country but all of Europe and the freedom of the civilized world. You are wonderful people. Respect and a lot of love from Poland. Long live free Ukraine, long live free Poland, long live free Europe, long live the free world.

The French and German reason is of the kind that they have condemned themselves to the role of Putin's useful idiots. The mousetraps are full of free cheese, my friend. And Poland, which is guided by both the heart and the reason, can be calm about gas supplies and help people in need.

It’s very upsetting to hear that non-Ukrainians are discriminated on Polish border. Why nobody says that foreign students did not loose their homes ..they have families and home in their countries, they don’t require help to the extent like Ukrainian women with children. Perhaps to help them to get a tickets to fly back to their countries could be helpful enough? Hope Peace Love Light 🙏☮️❤️

I am not a racist, but these claims start making me increasingly angry. Are there bombs flying at the families of these students? Do these students not have arms and/or legs? Do they not have the brains to find out for themselves, to contact universities in other countries, to look for work/accommodation? After all, these are students with knowledge of at least English, not disabled little children for goodness sake. I understand that they may feel bad when someone humiliates them or treats them badly because of their different skin color. That women with small children have priority at the border. But what kind of person do you have to be to complain about that priority? Women and small children also get cold and have nothing to eat or drink before crossing the border. Should we buy students tickets to their countries? I do not think so. In the EU students have many possibilities to take care of themselves. We will soon have several million refugees in Poland. Believe me, a healthy student is not the biggest concern here now.
@boguslawaevasipowska2222 жыл бұрын
Look , it doesn’t have to be ..it’s just instinct to help first mothers with children and make young strong people to wait ..also it’s a border and other nationals have to be checked ..not ?
@Rene_Moor30952 жыл бұрын
@@boguslawaevasipowska222 Of course, but you remember that we have a war in Ukraine and it is not a typical situation for everybody. I even wrote on TT to the polish government when I had seen students from Ukraine on CNN who had had a problem crossing the border. I am sure that they can get information and help in embassies of their country, embassies of other countries, in all universities and from other students. Maybe polish students should work as volunteers on the borders with pieces of information for students from Ukraine.
