Great video bro. Do not allow these low life losers to comment and get to you in anyway. (Which I’m highly sure they aren’t) People use what they want as their own preference who gives a sh*T what year it is and what they’re using as long as it works for you and your fish are happy man all that matters. Keep up the great content we are here for it.

Thank you for that bro! I definitely needed that reminder! It does get hard to ignore some of the garbage people are writing. Especially when my videos are coming from such a genuine place. But when people can hide behind a keyboard they say just about anything. Thank you again brother I truly appreciate this comment!

@@TheFishCorner No doubt brother. A little reminder can go a LONG way. I can imagine the frustration and anger you are feeling or have felt when you see and read negative comments. Don’t allow that to swallow you up and make you act on them it’s what feeds them. Leave that negativity in their court. You have been a true inspiration brother. You are a very knowledgeable individual and very humble. I got nothing but straight love for you and your family especially your channel bro. Keep grinding and if you need constant reminders of what a bad ass you and your channel are I will be right there! On God 💯

Thank god you made this!!! Thank you!!! I bought this and read the instructions and was like wtf!!! And then I did what I do best and googled lol this popped up! And it was super simple!!! I do have a question though lol the one I got it for inside or outside…. Do you have another video for using it inside the tank? And which is better?
@TheFishCorner Жыл бұрын
You’re so welcome! Thank you for watching and commenting! This particular model was for the exterior of the tank. I haven’t tried out an interior protein skimmer. What model is it? I’ll look it up and see how I can help. I prefer the exterior options because it doesn’t take up space in the aquarium.

I’m So glad I found your Channel. I have a 40 gallon Saltwater tank. The pet stores in Houston keep telling me I need a sump. But I don’t have room for a stump. I have been doing water changes,and my fish are doing fine. I knew I wanted to add a protein skimmer to my tank. You showed us how to set on up skimmer and other little tips. What type of filters do you use. Thank you so much for your helpful aquarium Tips.
@TheFishCorner2 жыл бұрын
What’s up Bro, yea pet stores are just like anyone else, only can give advice on what they have experience with. You came to the right place though bro, I’ve been running my nano low tech reef tank for about a year now with HOB filters. I’m currently using two Aquaclear 70’s. I did make an above the tank sump though. Since this video I removed this skimmer. It didn’t work well because it was too big for the tank lol and was creating a lot of micro bubbles. So I removed it. If you add a skimmer close to your tank size, you’ll be good. If you need tips on how to build an above the tank sump I’ll give you the link. It’s so simple and well worth it. Here’s the link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKbFqIKwbq95nNk If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to ask.

Great video. 3 years after can you share your experience with this skimmer? What is your opinion on this skimmer after some time? Do you recommend it?

It works well with a larger aquarium like a 75g or 55g but the skimmer cup is quick to overflow if you don’t keep an eye on it.

The ones in the sump can handle a much larger capacity, so they are typically used for larger aquariums.

@im160bpmplus3 жыл бұрын
Another great vid! Keep it up!! Micro bubbles are a normal result of skimming, usually you would have a bubble diffuser/ some sort of sponge before the water goes directly back into the tank. Some dont like micro bubbles but some also use micro bubbles to scrub the tank. So its really only a visual prob for us and more likely better for the tank and fish.

I have a 30 gallon Breeder tank would you recommend this same exact one or would it be too tall for it? I have it sitting on my kitchen counter.
@TheFishCorner3 жыл бұрын
I’ve never seen a 30 gallon breeder, only the 40 breeders... what’s the measurements? But to be honest any option you choose will work. I started with a 20 tall.... I would use what I have. The only thing to keep in mind is that some of the breeders aren’t that tall so if you want corals, you have to be considerate of the height when they grow and the intensity of the lighting. I prefer the taller tank for saltwater. But that’s just my preference bro. Like I said I think what you have will work fine and if you’re going to start out with just some fish and invertebrates you’re good.
